We did see/hear about Lacey and how she will be remembering it, it seems it will be a quiet one for her.

David keeps coming up with these little bits of humour as in inviting Amelia to a Langham  family lunch.   She's a brave lass and Jo who has returned was surprised by Lacey's change of opinion of her.  Quite right though about them not taking down any family photos, it wouldn't be up to her or Lacey to do that anyway, Kristina  was  and always will be a part of the family.

Levi was absolute rubbish  at keeping Eden's surprise from Cash but it was a quiet, calm affair, just Eden, Cash, Levi, Abby, Remi and Mac there. I noticed  Richie wasn't there but  I guess Abby was sensible enough NOT to invite him seeing how things are.

I did  have the mad thought John's story may have been Tane rowing to see see Harper. Dana and Archie. 🤣

As far as I'm aware, because Australia are now screening 6 episodes a week the gap will level itself out.

Assuming we return on New Year's Day (which is a Friday this year) we've got 6 weeks off, as we finish on Thursday November 19.  That leaves us 7 weeks of 2026 episodes to screen, with 2027 starting on Friday February 19; which is pretty much the same point we started 2026 at.

Oh, we have a definite date now do we?  I hadn't heard/seen anything about when it was stopping in the UK this year.  Need to make a note on my calendar.   Strange to finish on a Thursday though and not the Friday.

The 5Star broadcasts have been finishing on a Thursday for a few years now, it's just in the past the Channel 5 showing continued onto the Friday...and now we don't have one. (I think I'm probably still going to record the "new" episode on the Thursday to watch on the Friday but then I'm strange.)

Anyway, today's (6pm) episode. Levi had some lovely moments of humour, puncturing Sonny's attempt to act tough and taking two goes to say something reassuring to Mackenzie. Levi was spectacularly bad at coming up with a way to get Cash to come with him: Honestly, saying Eden suggested it might have been the best option. It made Remi's excuse of wanting to show her his new guitar seem like genius. Some nice, if awkward, byplay between Mackenzie and Sonny. I'm not sure whether or not it worked better to have Cash find out about Eden's surprise when she wasn't there but he seemed pleased anyway.

Nice chat between Sonny and Lacey remembering Theo. Her family didn't really know him so it's nice she had someone else there. Jo returns and instantly tries to solve everyone's problems, with perhaps partial success, although I appreciate Lacey making an effort. Looks like David's officers have just got used to waving his girlfriend through when she turns up for a hook-up.

I'd do it as a 1 hour special on the Thursday.

Interestingly these "anniversary" episodes only TXed in Oz a week later than they should have done, if we take October 1 as the date for both events.

I see from the credits they went to a national park to film the anniversary do.

TBH wish I'd watched these in a 1 hour (well, 45 minute) sitting as they flowed on very nicely.  Based on the promo giving tomorrow a miss... also, why have they decided to do this now when we've just had a (failed) redemption arc storyline?

There's a lot of speculation in Australia that Ritchie will be a match for Eden, curing her of her sickness.  (That's hopefully not a spoiler as she's still in the same place at Aussie pace.)  If the character is staying he's going to need to go full Adam Cameron to get Summer Bay back onside.

I thought it might be Stewart's Point but I think the addition of guardrails (compared to the pics in that link) threw me.

Was that where they were when Levi fell from that cliff?

Yeah there's been a bit of a revamp in the past few years (and Shane's rock has gone)

There was another 'anniversary' if you could call it that, it also a year ago Mac lost her first baby which was why she wasn't  at Eden & Cash's  Wedding. It was a lovely and poignant occasion. We did see that  piece of land that juts out so it was in the bay.  Eden must get peed of, as anyone would, with Cash asking her how was she, was she tired  very five  minutes.  Then springing that  surprise of them going on a world cruise, will he being taking a year off work? Sneaky little ment of Kirby and Irene.

Remi overheard Abby telling Levi and Mac how her time had been at Richie's mum, though she had told Cash & Eden it was a 'friend' she had been with. He also recommended she tell Cash the truth before he  finds out another way.

Lunch at the Langham's went well, though a touch awks at times,  admitting she was  a rubbish cook, but did save desert.   David was getting ahead of himself suggesting she stay over, she wisely reminded him "baby steps".  I did have  one thought - what would have Theo have said to Lacey about Amelia, he surely have suggested she give Amelia a chance. David, wisely, didn't tell Amelia why  Lacey may have seemed quiet at times. Btw it was certainly   a long lunch it was dark when Amelia left.  Be warned David Amelia  was certainly very well handy with that tenderiser but she won over Lacey and Jo.

Wow, really? That’s a shame.

My parents who have been there didn’t recognise it until I pointed it out to them, but I think that was because the furniture was blocking much of the recognisable landmarks from the untrained eye.

Leah said her roster was full at the Diner, guess she covered Zane’s shifts with existing staff (or decided she didn’t need the extra head).
