I suppose as Amelia is one step back from Eden & Cash she can look at it in  a more positive vein and can see it from both sides.  Wonder if Eden will look at the site and see there could be hope.

Seeing how long Alf has known Marilyn he was a bit off there by 'persuading' her to go to Leah & Justin's. Marilyn did have quite a big part in Jett's life, as she took over looking after him when Gina died.  At least all that nosh Leah cooked didn't go to waste as Remi got to eat it when he went to theirs later. 😀

I had a 💡 moment like Justin did when Remi was telling him  about why he was sticking to Sonny like glue, suppossingly to keep him from Tane, Sonny was just a distraction to stop him worrying about Eden.

Well that idea Richie had taking Abby to Salt didn't  go well as they bumped into Lacey.  Not surprisingly  she took it out on Abby.  Richie is going to find it hard fitting in, even if he isn't going to be a resident and just a visitor. Then that moment happened which came earlier than I expected it would.

Yes, I was much the same, H&Alover, I realised the same as Justin, that Remi's overinvolved with Sonny because he can't help Eden and he needs to help someone. It's a shame he didn't react too well when Sonny put it to him, but hopefully he'll accept the support in turn.

Have we really gone straight from Lacey having a go at Amelia all time to Lacey having a go at Richie all the time? A bit of variety! David running into Richie and just shrugging it off would work if there was going to be an immediate follow-up, but that's his three episodes done so we won't see him again until the next block. I don't know if I blinked at the wrong moment or something but I didn't realise at first that Lacey's text summoning someone to the Diner was to Amelia. I sat there trying to work out if it was Justin or Leah or Sonny that got it or if I got confused and one of them was summoning Lacey to the Diner, and it wasn't until Amelia turned up and sat with Lacey that I realised "Ohhh, right." I feel sorry for Abigail caught in the crossfire again. Richie sleeping on her porch like it was a normal thing to do made me smile a bit.

It's sad for Remi, that even with all his money he can't help one of his oldest friends so it's out of his control.

Quite a turn around that Lacey called on Amelia to ask her to help David cope that now Richie is back in town after their previous prickly meetings.   I can completely understand her feelings about Richie being back as he did shoot her dad, has Jo been updated?  Naturally Amelia wouldn't know who Richie was, her main concern was treating David when he was brought in.

Tad stalkerish Richie sleeping on the porch at the Farmhouse.  but he seems determined not to let people bully him out of town. On that point Lacey  did turn into Alf ordering him to leave the bay. Where will he stay btw?

I thought it was more childish of Mac calling Tane out by  not wanting a lunch - free again of course - as Sonny  was working there. I thought she had agreed she would  let him know when he was so no  awkward moments between them?

Another  awkward meeting with Levi and Amelia about his op and what would happen  when he's able to come back to work in  the ED.  He did surprise her that he had clocked the reason why she wanted to stay in the bay.

Alf's episode count this week:Three.

This is starting to seem like a pattern of behaviour for Lacey, she even gets the same "There's nothing you can do to stop us" from Richie as she did from Amelia. Curiously, I found it less irksome from him, probably because he tried to be nice and she just kept on attacking, whereas with Amelia it was the other way round and she was issuing warnings when Lacey was trying to be nice. Well, Sonny getting Richie and Abigail to leave Salt before Lacey turned up for work achieved nothing, they just ran into her outside. At least Abigail has Levi and Mackenzie's support.

I guess Levi was paying attention when Mackenzie tried gossiping to him about David and Amelia a few weeks back. In the end, he couldn't really do much for her except promise to keep her updated.

I'm in two minds about the way Tane was treated here. I don't think he should be forced to be okay with Sonny, but if he's going to spend all his time trying to avoid him then I'm not sure why he should be indulged. Anyway, ironically it prompted Remi to open up to Sonny a bit.

Catching up… Gina being mentioned was a surprise.

I’m finding Marilyn less, Marilyn-like in appearance of late. Her hair has been worn much more losely. I also still can’t get over seeing her in trainers, I feel like the show could have her in her heels for wide shots and change for close ups or where her feet aren’t seen, it changes her whole characterisation, the way she walks and who she is as a character.

I really liked the ending to the Zane story though, it was nice to see the the Summer Bay magic not working for a change, and I enjoyed Marilyn’s call out of the Bay not helping him, although to be fair, they were starting to, maybe it was too little, too late. The Tane interaction definitely came too late, as maybe a training regime could have helped given Zane some order.

Well, mostly about Richie today. David compartmentalising things is a way of handling it but Amelia had a point that he shouldn't just wait until he bumped into Richie again. (Another personal visitor for David at work and he even says she can come any time. Do the other officers know that's the rule now?) Fair play to David for advising Lacey to make up with Abigail. I'm not sure how they can maintain their friendship at the same time she's dating Richie (what happens next time the pair of them walk through the surf club together?) but at least she's trying. She also had a brief moment of clarity pointing out to Justin that they can't run him out of town. Leah was obviously affected by Marilyn's comments and I commend her for wanting to help Richie, but just inviting him to move in when Justin was so anti-Richie shortly beforehand was just daft.

Only other thing on offer was the update on Zane. It's sad, but as Alf said, it's what he's chosen.

Why Leah didn’t just suggest the Caravan Park, I don’t know, other than it’s apparently her turn for a story.

I guess Abi didn’t suggest it because Mali is still living there, although it’s about time he moved in with Tane.
