Well if David’s ever struggling with moving on and worried about forgetting Christine don’t ever go to ALf for advice he seems to have forgotten Alisa she’s been wiped from history it seems ironically the old Sonny seems to have been too

I didn’t realise that nobody actually likes Levi I would also argue if even Mac does she’s incredibly cruel too him sometimes Cash being Levi brother in law and his treating him the way he did Richie and I would have thought Mali would like him because of dating Abby Tane l don’t see being bothered either way

As I suspected  Beau played the "I've been cheated on before" card which  supposedly  made it OK for him to hurt Harper. Maybe he had been but no excuse.   She did tell him she'd seen the victims of controlling behaviour before so should have known better. Let's NOT forget women can be just as controlling.  Her hiding her injury is making it look like she's the one to blame.

Bravo Maz for not handing Archie over to him  when he asked, turning on his usual charm,  saying Harper had asked Archie only to be  handed to her and I'm guessing Tane.  Tane when the truth comes out as it will, be blaming himself for not realising.

Remi would have to be careful how, if, he warns Harper about Beau's true nature and what his real business is.  it was a pure fluke Remi catching Beau handing over the drugs to Sonny for his next deal. Remi told  Sonny he's on his own if he caves in to Beau's demands, but we know he'll be there for him.

It was, again, as I thought Sonny is scared to come off the steroids as he'd slip back in his  recovery  which is a false one anyway.

I'm not sure it's because  Mali, Tane and Cash don't like Levi, they just don't know him that well.  May be doing Levi a disservice but did he work in Doctors Without Borders, he's never mentioned it before not even to Mac, not saying he'd brag about it but odd anyway.  Also, unless it was off screen he never said anything to Bree when she was off to join DWB.  Oh I looked up if there are alligators in Peru and there aren't but there are caimans.  They were a bit  rough on him teasing him on  the scramble nets and the zip wire,  you weren't wrong Red, it was laser tag, he and Cash did well there, Cash being a cop and all that so got Levi's hand signals.

TPTB certainly  packed a lot into Fridays' 'new' episode and John was so John with Dana after she was let down by Sonny. 🤗

Come to think of it when did Alf remarry?  I don't remember it, but I might have missed watching for a few years and my memory's not great about things that happened long ago either.

Maybe four years ago I’m not so sure though it was written in because of Ray semi retiring and ALf goes to see Martha for when Ray takes breaks

Felt slightly sorry for Sonny for unknowingly messing things up for DanaI think Beau does actually like Harper so his a idiot for messing things up there too I also think a tracking app is unnecessary with your girlfriend that’s bound to cause trouble

Levi falling off the cliff happened very abruptly no dramatic music or anything

Finally got to see the Cliffhanger.  Literally.  I liked how it just happened and there was no real build up other than Levi's general braggadocio.

The promo shows he's alive though, which felt like an anti climax until we pick things back up after the weekend (I assume Australia got something far more dramatic and produced.)

Beau is like a virus, slowly infecting himself into everyone's head.  I still just don't understand why Harper, a social worker, would be this forgiving?  She can't believe that's going to be a one-off?

Thanks James, I appreciate that x

No worries.  I actually didn't know the arm grab in Thursday's episode (I think, life means I've unintentionally done the Commonwealth finale in one 90 minute sitting as it aired in Oz) was coming.

The 5 App has given warnings for the drug references, but I don't know if they do trigger warnings as well.  There's some irony about being asked to confirm I'm over 16 when many of the show's long term fans were quite a bit younger than that when they got into it.

It's difficult because I don't think you can do any decent storyline justice without causing at least some offence.  But if it pushes at least one person to walk away from, or pluck up the courage to go to the authorities over, an abusive partner then I'd say everyone involved have done their job properly.

Finally, just going back to the cliffhanger; is this where the 2005 opener was shot, where Dan and Jesse were arguing over Leah with Flynn trying to mediate?

I completely get that, it took me a long time to escape so I don’t think il be able to watch parts of the episodes 😞 I think it’s important that soaps show these hard hitting storylines but it’s taken me a long time to get where I am today 😞 I’m not ashamed anymore but also don’t feel ready to watch things play out on TV.

I mostly focus on the growing friendship between David and Amelia to be honest x

Yeah I tend to skip anything with cancer in these days because that’s how my mom died and it’s much worse in real life even if they write a good story for it on tv I just don’t feel or like to watch it now

Sorry to hear about your situation in the past but from reading your comments I read something like David’s character is very much like your husband now and when I read that I wanted to ask you does that make you Amelia? Haha I can see what the writers are doing it’s actually written quite decent but it’s abit too sloppy for me to get fully behind  I need a girlfriend to get with all romantic stories

Harper has only ever really been attracted to Tane and he hasn’t really shown the interest that Harper wanted so with Beau she probably feels like she has to jump at the chance he is showing interest in a boyfriend way sort of I don’t know why really because it’s messing his deals up with Sonny but Harper is attractive as I have always said she’s got nice hair Beau if nothing else has given her more character even if he is controlling her

I for a long time buried how I was feeling, I didn’t feel worthy or loved despite my husband being there for me, I couldn’t see what he was seeing when I looked in the mirror, all I saw was what I thought was the worse parts of me because it was what my ex highlighted in me on a daily basis, I don’t have much family so growing up I just dealt with everything that was thrown at me. I’m now the strongest I’ve ever been but I’ve had to have a lot of counselling to get to where I am. There is still certain things that trigger me and I would never talk about my experience before now because I was shamed that I didn’t leave sooner, I didn’t have kids then but I was engaged to him. When I finally met my now husband and he found out what happened to me, he got me started in counselling and well I haven’t looked back. It was the best thing I could have done for myself. Learning to love yourself again is very difficult but I finally got there.

I’ve learn’t how to deal with my triggers and as much as I thought I’d be okay watching this storyline I just can’t do il be skipping it.

My husband is very similar to David and I am similar to Amelia in the sense that despite the strength I have a very vulnerable side, which I don’t tend to let people see, the one side of me I will never allow anyone to take from me again because I had to build myself back up from scratch to get to where I am now.

I love the David/Amelia storyline because it’s just everything I always wanted, and I’m also a big fan of Jeremy/Nicole (in fact my little girl is named after Nicole)

I’m really sorry about your mum, I’m here if you ever need someone to talk too x
