Yeah, it is a bit strange that Marilyn didn't mention John in her letters to Zane while she did mention Jet.

The story gets more bizarre as it goes on

I think Marilyn said she and Zane and I guess her other prison  pen pals didn't 'talk' about personal stuff, maybe be best not to.  Did Zane know where Maz lived or did he work it out by what she talked about.  Going back to what James Martin said about letters you and any prisoner write to each other reminded me of when Cohen was staying with Roo and he wrote to his mum and had to put his letter in an unsealed envelope into  an another envelope addressed to the prison so they can can check/vet it before handing  it over, ditto in reverse.

Alf, it seems, has an ulterior motive for letting Zane stay in the house, it's so he can keep a closer eye on him.

It was Zane who talked Marilyn into going back to work once he found out she quit and wasn't sacked. I was confused.dot com🤔though  when Maz showed Zane how to work the coffee machine as I thought she'd already done that which he got into trouble with Leah for.  Zane wouldn't have an email account or a bank account as he was only 17/18  back in 2016.

Eden's collapse at Salt must have brought back bad memories for Cash seeing as that was where Flick collapsed without any prior symptoms. Mac did fill in Amelia, Levi and Abby why he was so angry towards Amelia, the typical response of a relative when the doctors can't give them an answer. It is a lot more serious than any of them thought.  Eden wouldn't have noticed the bruises on her back unless they had been hurting her.

Beau must have  a pretty good lawyer being given bail and we all know how bad guys like him and Holden don't obey their AVO's.

Yeah, Zane does seem to know a fair amount of personal information about Marilyn...just not John. Which, again, is fair enough, they've not been that close in the last year and I don't imagine she mentioned Don Fisher either. I guess Alf was a bit grumpy in front of Marilyn at the end, but otherwise he's continuing to keep his motivation secret from her while grumbling to Leah instead, who did her best to talk him round. I'm trying to remember how old I was when I got my first bank account: Probably 17/18! I think other people do it younger as well.

Anxious times for Eden and her family.Cash was a bit annoying badgering Amelia and sniping at Abby, but let's be honest, we've seen worse.I'm glad Abigail gets to stay with Levi and Mackenzie because Levi ordering her to move back out still grates a bit.It was a bit off that no-one thought to tell Remi but he's not in the episode! They've got some answers at the end (or Cash and Eden have anyway) but they don't exactly provide comfort.

Oh right I couldn’t quite work out why Alf was being grumpy so you’re post explains that

I have been anaemic couple of times so l recognise some of the symptoms that’s happening to Eden but obviously much more serious

Maybe in Zane's case he didn't much money to call his own, seems from what we have heard,  he didn't have  a good family life.  Now he will be earning it makes more sense.  Bit of a uturn for Leah standing up for him.

We did see Remi in the 'new' episode and he did what  Cash did, had a go at Amelia, but to his credit did apologise.

Amelia didn't mince her  words about Eden's condition but I think  I'd rather hear the truth but she did temper it with her later comments.  Levi, being a doctor, though it's not in his field, would be more aware of what it could mean. A lot of consulting Dr. Google going on.

Cash

Shouldn't be amusing but the scenes with David and his girls were.  Was so coincidental when Amelia rang David, not saying more in case people haven't yet watched it.  Jo is going to find out what was occurring when she goes into work. 😉

I don’t really know what to actually say about Eden it’s going to be a long story so see where it goes

nicely worked though to put a delay to David’s and Amelia’s date it’s cool how they are writing those two slow burn you can sense their feelings but that’s what makes for a good relationship makes you appreciate the other person you’re trying to impress more

Oh yes nice scene with David and Cash with Christina dying David could understand Cash not wanting to lose Eden to a cruel fate also

Yep, Remi gets looped in and replaces Cash as the one getting agitated with Amelia but Eden manages to pull him back and, yes, fair play to him, he did apologise. Abigail momentarily gets her hopes up until Levi and Cash's expressions tell her this is serious. While I think their parents should probably be told straightaway (actor availability issues?), I do appreciate Mackenzie trying to be supportive. And even David was nice to Cash about it all.

I see it was "bring your daughters to work" day for David again, although I guess at least he wasn't officially on shift. That was unfortunate timing for David and Amelia with her having to deal with a medical emergency right as they're having their first official date. I like to think he'd have been as understanding even if it hadn't been Eden. Lacey's feelings are understandable and her knowing it's not the "right" way to feel makes me even more sympathetic, but hopefully she keeps it under control.

I don't know if David knows about Cash's history with Felicity but he would understand he'd need to be there for Eden.  I guess Levi and Abby had to take it in themselves before he rung their mum and dad.  I'm sure David would understand being 'stood up'  as would Jo as she's a cardiothorcic  nurse so knows emergencies happen at anytime.  Of Course Amelia can't tell David anything, just a general she's OK at the moment.   I did feel for Lacey when Amelia, David, Jo and her had their dinner at Salt, she was  a bit left out in  a way, as Amelia and her dad connected and Jo and Amelia connected being in the medical profession.

The news about Eden is making it's way round the bay, Justin, Leah and Maz know. Will Remi let  Kirby know?

Alf is still being Alf not wanting to get to know Zane. I bet if Roo was there she'd have a few choice words for him.

Maybe   just me but I felt Amelia was dodging David's perfectly innocent questions about her family and neatly changed the subject.  Though saying that we don't know anything about David's family, are his parents alive, does he have siblings? Oops amend that he does have an unnamed  brother and sister.

It moved onto Harper, Tane and Beau  in the 'new' episode.  I can understand Harper's reasoning about not letting him - Beau - rule what she does.  I'm liking how Tane is being  there for her.

Yes, the news of what's going on with Eden spreads around the bay: By the end of the episode, Justin, Alf, Leah, Marilyn, Tane and Harper all know. Amelia did a good job of dealing with Remi calmly and giving him advice, perhaps recognising that he's basically just a decent guy that cares about Eden.

I'm liking the characterisation of Lacey: She's not being unreasonable and she's not being perfect, she can see this is important to David and doesn't want to get in his way but she still feels uncomfortable about having someone replace her mum. The others excluding her from the conversation in Salt didn't help. Good point, H&Alover, about Amelia dodging David's questions.

Leah seems to be firmly Team Zane now. While Marilyn's the one giving Zane practical help, it seemingly falls to Leah to call Alf out on his behaviour. Justin gives a weary "Do you really want to do this?" but can't resist chiming in.

Tane is being a bit over-protective of Harper but she might need it. I'm flip-flopping about how much of this is Sonny's fault: Beau was already at the gym and probably dealing before Sonny got involved, but if he'd reported it as soon as Beau offered him some "supplements", we wouldn't be here.
