Mali and Abigail's break-up feels rather contrived: They've been getting on mostly fine, then they argue for two weeks and that's it. (Mali didn't do himself any favours with that smug comment when she came home.)

I'm tempted to say that Justin hasn't noticed the garage has been locked for weeks, but to be fair, we did get a reference to him working there last week.

I thought the same on both counts.

Does David know that Tane was married to Cash’s late sister? I feel as if that information would help answer his repeated question about why Cash keeps sticking his neck out for him. I feel it’d help Brax & Ricky to know that too.

Brax was  banging on about coming 'home' to the bay, but excuse me for being picky but the bay isn't his home Mango River was.

Mangrove River. I thought the same. My only thought was maybe some kind of feeling of it as home to him as it was where he was trying to get back to when he was in jail/escaped custody due to Ricky being there.

Some thoughts on a selection of characters:

Harper - I've felt sorry for Harper.  She should have listed to Dana (and even Tane) about Kerrie.  She genuinely thought there was a chance Kerrie had changed and wanted her in Archie's life.  She was obviously genuinely sorry and remorseful about Tane being framed, so I really wasn't happy Mackenzie threw her out of Salt even though she apologised afterwards.  I also didn't like the way Tane was with her even though again, he made amends.  I do wonder whether she is still in love with Tane.

Mackenzie - I think she's been unbelievably stupid for multiple reasons 1) Convincing Tane to skip bail - Absolutely nothing to gain from it 2) Getting the River Boys to help 3) Telling Jo how to find Tane (that was probably worse than anything - a cop's daughter and the fact she thought Jo was going to keep quiet about it) 5) She has a criminal record - Good chance if it comes out she assisted Tane she will go to jail 6) Going back to the River Boys to get them to threaten the drug dealer who was in cahoots with Kerrie into fessing up that they set up Tane 7) She's pregnant - She should be focusing on the baby.

Brax et all - When I heard Brax/Ricky were returning I wasn't too happy about it.  Suffice to say, I've actually quite enjoyed some of the scenes with him and Tane.  I haven't minded Ricky either and I like Casey.

Abi - Annoying as **** - The whole thing with speaking to the reporter about Lacey without checking if it was OK with Lacey first.  It felt like it she was doing it more for herself rather than Lacey because she was on some crusade.  I'm glad Mali called her out for it and I'm pleased they broke up.

Tane - He's a character that I would say overall is OK.  There are some things he's done that I'm not too keen on.  He sometimes acts impulsively.  In this scenario he's innocent, so I have quite a bit of sympathy for him.  The one thing I will say, certainly from my perspective is that it's actually quite incredible the lengths some people will go to to help him.  I've mentioned above re Mackenzie.  Cash puts his whole career on the line and risks jail to help him.  Harper (again who I wonder is still in love with him) joins forces with his current girlfriend to help him.  How does he do it?

John - I think he came across pretty badly regarding Justin so I didn't have an issue when Marilyn was making snide remarks about him.  Justin and Leah let him stay at their place, he tries to avoid Justin when Justin simply wanted to know why he could go to his place of work to run his business rather than telling them right away he messed up.  That's not something a genuine friend would do.

David - I just don't like the guy.  I don't find him to be particularly likeable, although I do appreciate he does have a lot to deal with.  I was glad how wound up he was when he realised Cash took off Jo to pursue Tane.  I wasn't happy when the prosecutor caved and dropped the case against Lacey.  David must be pretty important if they don't want to risk losing him.  I will say I do like the way he calls Cash, Newman.

Can someone please confirm whether we are still allowed to discuss previews here or if it's a case that's it's not strictly disallowed, but it would be better to wait for the next episode to discuss after the event has actually happened?

I don't get it either as by 6:30pm the episode's been available on streaming for 12½ hours.

Not everyone wants to stream the episodes and you get those who do put up spoilers for the rest of us.

David does know Tane  was married to Cash' sister  because when Tane rescued Jo he did say to Cash  thank your bother-in-law for me.   Oops I keep spelling Mangrove  wrong.

Re Brax and Ricky have they changed their surnames?  It hasn't been mentioned at all but seeing  as Brax booked  Tane's flight to WA and  he, Ricky and Casey would have flew to Sydney he would have had to book in his name whatever it is. Where they were living is all Casey knows.

Not only was it surprising enough that Tane's friend, Cash,  is a cop, now Brax has discovered Tane's girlfriend is the  daughter of  a cop and not your usual cop but a sargeant!  I think Jo is paying back Brax and Ricky  for helping Tane by letting them stay at Tane's and went shopping for them, it'd be something he would do.  Off piste a tad, but they do lock their doors in the bay as Jo used hers/Tane's to let them in.

I think Sarge's like David do call their staff by their surnames, keeps it professional at the  workplace.

I'd like to also know which episode we should be talking about on here.

Mayhap John was embarrassed that he's had to sell  the garage to pay for his repairs to his house as the insurance won't pay out which was why he was avoiding Justin.

Mali and Abby  mostly get on well together but then all these dramas keep coming up where they keep falling out which would get wearing.  Mali is usually a laid back guy but Abby is more volatile, they both still love each other though so it's sad they  have decided to split up.

I just hope that Western Australia tourism isn't hoping this will encourage people to visit.  Lots of empty space with absolutely nothing.  Really going to attract the tourists.

Tbh would probably have been better for Brax and co to go to Mangrove River and hide out with the River Boys.  Or at least be sensible and stay in a motel away from Summer Bay rather than going right into the place.

As far as I'm aware, there's never been any problems with talking about promos, especially if you make it clear that's what you're doing.

As I recall, there was some debate at the time as to whether he was talking about Tane or Levi.

Well, I guess it brings a sense of stability to the universe to know that Brax is still a monumental jerk, and once a criminal, always a criminal. This is exactly why Ricky didn't want to go with him in the first place, because she didn't want to condemn Casey to living half a life and being constantly on the receiving end of Brax's arbitrary "Because I said so" decisions, and why it was frustrating that she let herself get sucked back in by Brax when it's clear he'll never change. Brax's way is the only way. If he actually cared about his family, he'd be at that police station, not laying down the law to them to protect his skin. I'm not sure what difference Cash being there makes, other than saving him having to explain it all to someone else. I wasn't too impressed with him using sex to stop Ricky asking inconvenient questions either.

It sounds as though John wasn't to blame for the garage being closed (although he maybe should have kept a better eye on the maintenance), but yeah, he should have given Justin a heads up instead of letting him just walk in there and find it locked up.

Everyone's home from hospital there. Remi seems to be getting there, while Sonny seems to have found a new set of hang-ups. I did like their little chat, they have a good friendship.

While I don’t like Mali I don’t think Abby should have gone to the newspaper about Lacey I don’t think it’s something anyone would want to make public that you have killed your stalker lol

Im still not really sure why Brax is helping Tane

Yeah, despite his loyalty towards certain people, I've never liked Mali.  I don't think anything could have stopped the storyline going public but Abigail certainly made things worse for Lacey as it seemed as though the article initially made the prosecutor decide to press charges even though he denied it to David.

I think Lacey has made the right decision not talking to the press.  Can't really say I liked the scenes with her and Abigail (Despite what Leah was like to her previously, I actually much prefer the scenes with Lacey and Leah and really like the way Leah looks out for her).

So David works his magic for the second time in a week and Cash gets off with a slap on the wrist and reduced to paperwork (for now anyway).  Cash should have been fired and he knows it.  I am starting to wonder if David has something on somebody high up.

John is really like a dog with a bone, hounding Eden and then Cash, although he is onto something and is not going to back down.

Judging by the preview it looks as though Brax is going to turn himself in, but we'll see what happens.

It was Tane who brought Jo out of the wreckage so likely it was Tane that David was referring to.

Wasn't sure until last night John meant he hadn't kept up the maintenance on the garage building.  We only see the garage when we do see it that is.

Was it down to David that Cash only got  a slap on  the wrist? Wouldn't that have been down to whoever he was dragged up to report to?  Cash does have  a history of doing his own thing long before David turned up.

Waa that brave or foolish Eden introducing herself to Brax and co?

John is on Neighbourhood Watch so he was only doing his 'job' by checking Tane's supposedly empty house out.

As we saw in the promo Cash was out and about as he turned up to take Brax in.  David would have had no idea the person who was using Tane's house was the person who had been hiding him and that Cash had met him. That'll be interesting when Cash takes him to Yabbie Creek, they'll both have to crack on they are perfect strangers.

Sonny seeing him possibly not being able to have sex with Dana as any man would as it's such a  man thing, he and Dana had had an  active life, if you know what I mean. Plus he would have 'enjoyed' himself on his travels.   Dana said there are ways of  being intimate without having full sex. But there was  a glimmer of hope. 🤞  Slow but sure for Remi though as seen in the promo he did stretch himself a bit too far by walking  back from the beach on his own.    John is now also in on the secret but John would get what Remi has gone through, he had  a brain tumour himself remember, it was discovered when John was revealed as the bay's arsonist.

Other silly thing.  Remi still has hair.  For the sort of op he's supposed to have had I'd expect his whole head to be shaved or at least a major part of it.  Yet, not a hair is missing.  Even his bandage is tucked under his hair.  Talk about unhygenic during the op and after!
