Fair play to Mali. After his behaviour in the previous episode, we might expect him to explode but instead he was calm and reasonable about it. And to be frank, he's spot on: Abigail's intentions were good but it wasn't her place to plaster Lacey's face and story all over the papers so she can convince herself she's doing something, and it's frustrating that Abigail doesn't seem to get it. Leah is increasingly feeling like a surrogate mother figure to Lacey, which is nice to see.

We finally get some answers to the confusion about Brax then, as it seems those running the show looked at his exit and realised that not being a murderer doesn't mean all the crimes Brax actually committed just disappear. (Do the authorities know he isn't dead though?) It really doesn't say much for Ricky though. It was bad enough that she went running back to Brax after previously refusing to go into hiding with him and wanting a better life for herself and Casey, but now I guess we have to assume that shortly after they drove off into the sunset he went "By the way, that free man thing? Well, I have been cleared of murder but we have to go into hiding anyway." So my sympathy for her here is about nil.

It does feel a bit odd for Roo to make her first appearance of the year when they clearly don't have anything for her to do, so she's just hanging around the Diner and Salt.

It’s true, what exactly keeps her coming back to Summer Bay other than Georgie Parker’s contract? When Alf’s in town it makes sense, when he’s not, I guess she’s there to take care of his businesses.

Can Roo not do her Surf Club secretary work remotely? She always seems to have a lot to catch up on when she returns, which makes you wonder how long her tasks can wait.

Technically Summer Bay House  is her home !.

I don’t have problem with Roo coming and going bit .

David hasn't lost the plot, Eden is Cash's wife so of course she'd be the one he and or any  cop would go to first.  Eden didn't help herself by refusing to go when David first asked her to to come to the station and answer some questions, it would, if we didn't know any better, look like  she had something to hide.

I did have to smile when David kept insisting Cash had 'taken' Jo with him. Jo did ring her dad, but did he have the forethought to track where  it was made from?  Anyways they, Cash, Tane and Jo are coming home now.   Technically Cash was on holiday so could he be charged with anything?  He did go there to bring Tane back.

Abby couldn't have known Coastal News would splash Lacey's picture on the front page and making her out to be some sort of crazed killer.  Leah is showing her good side by standing by Lacey.

How handy that Brax was putting his shirt on just  when  Cash was standing by so he saw his blood and sand tatt.  Typical of course Brax  hadn't read that text Ricky sent him or her messages so he didn't know what was going down until he got home.

That is a good legal point that although he was  proved  innocent of murder  Brax was at the time guilty when he made his escape so would he have to do time?
