Also would the motel cleaning staff not have tidied up Amelia's room?  At the least I would have expected them to make the bed.

Depends what arrangement there is at that motel?  They may change the sheets, but wouldn't touch personal  belongings.

Levi would get it Eden having to isolate.  Eden was probably getting  cabin fever  as she was feeling better and just seeing the same four walls isn't god for any patients mental health.  At least at home she can move about and have own bed to sleep in.  Plus no nurse waking you up to take your  temperature and blood pressure.

I did have to smile at David's dithering and then us seeing Amelia doing the same thing inside her room.

I wonder if Alf deciding to invite Maz, Leah and Justin to Martha's Birthday party was so he could get Maz away from Zane?  Wouldn't have really worked though because  who would look after the Diner?  Still confused.com though as Martha's birthday is in early August. Did TPTB decide to change it?

I like to think Theo would be able to get Lacey see her dad and Amelia getting together in a good way.

I dunno, didn't we get Sonny trying to build bridges with Tane and getting the brush off last week? It felt a bit like the definition of madness, especially when John actually tells Sonny and Remi to give Tane a wide berth. Mind you, if Tane thinks there's only one person responsible for Harper leaving, then that should be Beau, not Sonny. I'm glad John is still in contact with Dana despite this enforced exile. Remi only seems to have moved in with Tane five minutes ago: It's like he was needed out of Cash and Eden's place for her to storyline to happen but couldn't move in with Sonny yet because of his storyline so they needed a stopgap!

Not much going on in Eden's storyline I realise when I stop and think about it. Aside from the reveal that Mackenzie isn't a match either (Call me dense but I didn't realise Cash and Mackenzie sitting next to Levi last week meant they were getting tested too, I thought they were just moral support!), it's basically just restating things we already knew, although Cash recalling how he wasn't there when his mother died was affecting, so it's nice they had that time together.

Where did you get August from? Her birthday's never been stated before now as far as I recall.

Either way, the show doesn't tend to keep track of birthdays, very rarely mentioning them at all.

OOPS a total error om my part, I was reading about the real Martha Stewart.  They do only mention BIG Birthdays like 18th, 21st etc.

I assume that the location for Cash & Eden’s house wasn’t available as surely using their back garden for the family lunch would have been much easier.

Cash having to help Eden get ready was heartbreaking. The show are doing really well with these scenes of Eden struggling.

Alf's episode count:Suspended.

Discussion of both 8790 and 8791 (ie today's two episodes) follows:

Well, it wasn't clear if Tane needed Harper and Archie's passports for a specific reason or just if they ever needed them.At least he can ignore Sonny which is probably the best they can hope for at the moment. There seems to be another mini-exodus going on with Tane leaving town at the same time as Leah and Justin, with Alf away already! At least Sonny's got himself a job and hopefully Tane won't mind Mackenzie helping him out...

That was a pretty bitter blow for Zane but it was always a possibility, however much Marilyn stuck her head in the sand and insisted things would go the way she wanted.I'm kind of glad he lost his temper with her but behaving like that in front of David isn't smart so it's good he seems to have decided to move on.David gives Marilyn some pertinent advice about letting it be now they know how Heidi and her family feel, hopefully she'll listen to him more than she did Leah.

Levi was spiralling a bit, partly because of the pressure others were putting him under and also partly because of the pressure he was putting on himself. So it's good Jimmy's there to lighten the load.Things really have moved on from the days when Eden wanted nothing to do with Jimmy, with her desperate to see him.I do like Cash and Eden's relationship and that helping her dressed scene was kind of sweet but I couldn't help thinking that they seemed to have skipped the underwear! Maybe I'm not getting it but surely if Cash is "bubbling" with her to use the Covid term, shouldn't he be staying away from people too, so he doesn't catch anything from them that he could pass on? He seemed to get pretty close to Abby, David and Mack here. That aside, one thing Home and Away should be proud of is that they can do good medical storylines. It took Sonny months to recover from his injuries and there's no quick wrap-up for Eden here.

I'm really warming up to Zane and like that Zane/Mali seem to be becoming friends. I'm glad he's moving forward now.

I feel for Cash and hope he takes care of himself. He's already lost so much and needs some support. I think he's so focused on trying to be there for Eden and be strong that he's not coping.

The garden at Levi and Mac's  is a lot bigger so more room to spread out though why they didn't use it again when Jimmy turned up is  a mystery. I'm guessing Stephanie, Nicholas and the  H&A PTB took advice from any organisations and people who have Eden's condition to make sure they got it as right as they could as of course every case is different.

Odd that is was John who told Tane that Harper, Dana and  Archie were moving.  Tane was getting ahead of himself Harper wanting her and Archie's passports.  Quick aside I'm guessing Dana took hers when she went? I can see why Tane is feeling the way he is, when Archie was in the bay even if he wasn't looking after him he would likely be bumping into him and Harper at the Diner, Salt, on the beach. He'll be missing a lot of his everyday of  growing up.

Tane wasn't pleased that Remi was moving inti the Diner flat with Sonny so likely he won't be that chuffed Mac has given Sonny a job at Salt, he won't be going up there to get his coffee. A bit of an "excuse me"  moment for me when  Remi was trying to tell Tane Sonny was trying to turn his life around and  Tane wasn't impressed.  Tane wasn't the  upright citizen he is now when he first arrived, a bit of a wild card in fact.  Though I do admit he wasn't into drugs, in fact when he found that van he had nicked had drugs hidden in it he wanted rid of it quick.

That was  a bitter blow for Zane, he couldn't have known how bad  Heidi's brain injuries were back then and how they  are still affecting her.  It may have not been the outcome he wanted/needed but at least he tried and is backing off.  The mention of her epilepsy reminded me of Raffy who developed  epilepsy  when she was struck  on her head.

Downside of being a doctor you would get asked all these medical questions even if they are outside your expertise.,  When he's  got his  doctor's head on he can calmly tell relatives what the situation may be, but with Eden he's got his big brothers head on so not able to give her the answers to the questions she was asking. It was good that Levi asked Cash how he was feeling about it all. He did come back with  he'd lost his mum and Flick so didn't want to lose Eden, remember that's is why he dumped Eden when Flick died as he didn't want to lose anyone else he loved. Sad he wasn't there when his mum died.

A little bit of light heartedness with David and Amelia at hers, having to share a  mug of wine seeing she had just stuffed things away in    such  a hurry. Best bit, for me, was Jo saying to David  "What time do you call this young man" when he walked into The Beach House the  next  morning.🤣
