I can see why Tane told Jo he didn't want to be with her anymore, he thought they were solid, seeing as she schelped  across the country to find him but once back home she couldn't handle visiting  him in prison, it was quite a turn around. He would have been angry and hurt.   Harper's reaction you could understand but with her it was more about him doing a runner and never seeing Archie again whereas at least if he'd been inside he would have seen him at some time in the future.

As we saw Sonny, without knowing it, got Alf to see sense when no-one else could. He is more than half Alf's age and he is, like Alf, an independent guy, but he cottoned on that he needed people to help him.  When Justin rocked up after been sent by Leah Alf was ready to accept he did need help, nothing to do with being too proud,  which was why he asked  Justin to take him to  the doctors.

It's good in  a way that Sonny is following his pyshio's instructions and he is sticking to using his chair and not walking around too much. On that subject - wheelchairs - was there  any definite decision made about  getting wheelchair access to Salt such as in getting a lift p

ut in ?  John mentioned it briefly and it's not just wheelchairs it's when Harper drops in, she has to hike Archie's buggy up and down.

I see Remi's recent op hasn't stopped him driving his bike.  Didn't kick start his  memory block, not right away anyway.

Alf has had his fair share of getting nicked for driving offences hasn't he? 🤣

I imagine if anyone brought up Alf's NDE he'd snap their head off.

I wasn’t that impressed with Braxs return really for some reason I thought it would be more exciting It did feel though it’s probably the last time Brax will be in the bay It did feel like they finished his story off after however many years when he was around

Mac I have read what happens with her but like Levi I do wish she wasn’t so wrapped up in the Tane stuff I do find her quite annoying when it comes to that

Sonny I did roll my eyes when he was worried about never having sex again but it seems like a very important thing in this show sometimes there’s much more important things in life so I found it rather silly

Justin might actually get some work done with his mobile break down service

Im not at all interested in the Alf stuff

You can rationalise it but I still think Tane is being very unfair. He abandoned both Jo and Archie, taking off to the other side of the country on a whim, and would probably have stayed there if Cash and Jo hadn't tracked him down. Jo's forgiven him for that, Harper's trying to forgive him, but Jo says she isn't sure if she can handle years of only seeing him as a prison visitor (that was all she said, she didn't say she definitely couldn't, even Tane isn't claiming that) and he's acting as though the world revolves around him and she's not allowed to make a mistake which is nowhere near as bad as what he did. While I get why Levi didn't want a row in ICU, it's a shame Mackenzie was stopped from giving Tane a proper serve.

Elsewhere, Sonny just announcing he's moved back in when Dana's just said she doesn't think he's ready was rather presumptuous. John lets himself get manipulated by Mali a bit too easily after raising some fair objections.

Tane did have some doubts about his rash decision to move to the other side of the country even before Jo and Cash turned up. I think it was  what Brax told him about missing Casey's early years.  I don't know why Mac would give him a swerve, it was her egging him on to do a runner.  She got him at a vulnerable moment 15 years is a long time. Harper was right to give him a swerve though, how would she have explained to Archie he would never see his daddy again.

I think and I may be wrong but I think Sonny wanted to move back to the flat as he would be in the way with Eden and Cash now Remi has moved back to the studio. It does mean he would be stuck there as he's not that able bodied yet to get up and down those steps on his own.

John was absolutely right about the insurance coverage when Mali suggested opening up the gym so Sonny doesn't have to keep schelping  off to the rehab centre.  It was, to be fair to Mali, a good idea, but he didn't think it through.  He'd have to have some insurance regarding his surfing lessons.

Good news for Alf, though then it did mean Roo got her knickers in a knot again when he announced his news.   Justin tried, but failed, to stop Leah interfering.

Sorry to be boring but going back to getting a lift put in at the Surf Club so those not able to walk up the stairs to Salt be able to have access.  Not just someone like Sonny but other customers, who have a disability or even a broken leg or more infirm.  I'm guessing they as in The surf Club would need to apply to their local Council and Salt would need to chip in their share of the money to pay for it.

For someone who runs self defence classes Tane did absolutely appalling in that prison fright as did that police officer

I have started to question Jo here though she’s not very good at commitment really to be honest to pull back from Tane after one prison visit and then claim that she and Tane have been through alot when he was in hospital had me slightly baffled to what exactly they haven’t really been together that much I guess Jo nearly got crushed by a train Thank goodness she was there to check the tubes while Levi was trying to save Tanes life very silly Mac again was annoying

Im not so sure Eden should really be writing a song about Remi not being able to find his words not exactly tactful in my view

I thought it was very odd seeing Brax being friendly with the older characters when he was around before I don’t remember him giving a toss about them

I don't think Remi's moved back to the studio, I think they're just using it as a studio.

Roo continues to be the dog that won't let go of the bone.Alf's completed all the checks and is fully licensed to drive again and still she's running around fussing. Even Leah seemed to be regretting tipping her off a bit on seeing she wasn't just aware of Alf's plans, she was actually trying to stop them.

Well, fortunately Sonny's moving in plans received the seal of approval from Dana and Harper, but Harper seemed a bit subdued as the day went on and I'm not sure Sonny's party plans particularly helped.

Having initially been keen to make sure they got Tane's approval to go ahead, John and Mali ultimately ended up deciding to go ahead without him. I guess we'll see how much Tane blows his stack when he finds out...

I've actually gone a day ahead of the UK as I'm away and used, er, technology to watch the rest of this week on the very delayed plane ride.  But Friday will have dropped by the time most of you read this, but apols if any guns are jumped (pun not intended)

I know we're not that far behind (under 4 weeks now) and I am not aware of this coming back to bite, but there's a LOT of expositional dialogue about guns and shooting where the new cop is concerned.

I also notice he's billed as Guest Cast...

I know I’m slightly behind but Sonny being able to stand up in front of Dana just like magic and being able to walk upstairs for For me I have no chance of that happening for me but really watching that felt like a bizarre dream totally bonkers l thought who knows I will give it a go tomorrow just my face might not thank me when I face plant the floor and having just come back from two weeks in hospital might give it a miss actually

I still disagree that Eden wrote a song based on Remi not being able to remember words very poor taste and sadly he forgave her Not to mention I thought Edens singing was awful

I quite liked Richie

Roo was annoying, though I guess she was worried about Alf going off to Merimbula  again so soon, it is a long journey.    She shouldn't have gone behind Alf's back by ringing Martha though.  Justin, to his credit, put it across to Alf in a different way which changed his mind.  Again I don't know how long a journey, update apparently it's 298 miles and takes six hours 39 minutes. But I would think Alf being a sensible bloke would stop off along the way, even if just to stretch his legs, have a drink, have something to eat, have a wee, after all he's done it enough times since Martha  moved back there. Alf may be indeed be an older driver but then again, men and women a lot younger can be rubbish drivers.

This new idea he had, hasn't, seemingly, hasn't gone well. But there a lot of factors to be take into consideration.

I'm   guessing Tane had done his three days which is why we didn't  see John and Mali visit him to pitch their  idea about reopening the gym which he said no to, but as you said Red, they went ahead anyway.   Wouldn't he be needing the money, any money, it would bring in?

Sonny is good at arranging things like Archie's Birthday party though he has backed down on the naughty pin the tail on the donkey.

Tane  can well look after himself in  a fair fight but that certainly wasn't one, he was jumped on.
