Natasha Posted August 15, 2019 Report Posted August 15, 2019 So when I'm logged in with this forum I'm always having to put in the passwords to the spoiler and Australian discussion threads despite me being logged in. Why is this?
Dan F Posted August 15, 2019 Report Posted August 15, 2019 Unfortunately the passwords are necessary for those who wish to avoid spoilers, and are needed regardless of whether you're signed in or not. If people choose not to enter the password for either the spoiler and Oz discussion forums, then they will not see posts from these sections displayed in the various activity feeds. As for how often you have to re-enter the password, if you remain logged in then I believe it should only ask for them once a week—but if this isn't the case then it may be a browser issue. If you logout on leaving the forum then you will have to re-enter them when you next login. It is a bit of an annoyance, but it's the only solution we were able to find at the time to prevent members from inadvertently seeing posts from those sections.
