M*A*S*H - rarely what I'd call laugh-out-loud funny, but acting and direction were excellent. My favourite scene:

Gen. Hammond: Henry, I have some reports here from your Major O'Houlihan that I frankly find hard to believe.

Colonel Blake: Well, don't believe them then, General. Good-bye.

What Happens In Vegas: it was really good.

My advice to people who go to Vegas: don't get (too) drunk. You might end up married to a stranger. It happens in real life too.

Nine Months. The lesser of two Hugh Grant movies on offer tonight, but... yeah. I hadn't seen it in years. (CANNOT say the same for About A Boy!) It was a bit high energy for my lethargic mood - Tom Arnold and Robin Williams should not be allowed in the same room - but if I'd been in the mood for it, I'm sure it would have been hilarious. The plot was irritating though. If I compare it to About A Boy, About A Boy is about opening up to the possibilities of having other people in your life, having a family in whatever form it takes. Nine Months is about babies, babies, babies, and did I mention BABIES!? Because you know your life is meaningless and self-centered as hell without BABIES!!!!!!! :o ... Not my favourite message.

Slumdog Millionaire.

I loved it, although it's not exactly a feel good movie!! I found it really quite sad and horrific considering what the protagonists go through. But i highly recommend it. The ending is predictable but you can't imagine it being any other way.
