Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Has anyone seen that new Wallace and Gromit movie that was on ABC in on Wednesday night? it was so not Wallace and Gromit. I mean, it was well-made, it was tense and exciting, it was really funny, but it could not have been less appropriate for kids. I mean, it has Wallace falling in love with a woman who used to be the pin-up girl for a bread company, and has become a serial killer with a psychotic hatred for bakers. And she gets eaten by a crocodile while trying to escape. This from the guy who gave us a penguin jewel thief, a cyborg canine sheep-rustler, and an automatic cooker with a passion for skiing.
January Posted December 6, 2008 Report Posted December 6, 2008 Australia Loved it. A strong Australian cast, the storylines were a bit predictable but entertaining. I was lucky enough to live out in the Kimberleys for a year a few years back so I just loved the scenery. I miss those boabs! Even though the film was nearly 3 hours, the time went quickly.
