Liz Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 I think Leah's photos are meant to emphasise her Greek-ness; as in, her family are the most important thing to her and there are lots of them! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I do like Leah's photos. There are lots of them and they serve as little reminders to the past; I especially love the photo of Leah, Sally and Shauna (her bridesmaids) on her wedding day to Vinnie.

xGlowingAngelx Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 Yeh I always wondered what happened to the Palace. I know it burnt down, but it never got mentioned again. I always found that a bit weird. I mean it was Hayleys home after all!
loveangelmusicbaby Posted April 17, 2006 Report Posted April 17, 2006 I forgot about the Palace scenario until I opened this post. I think it will get refurbished eventually once the scriptwriters realise that they could have a perfect little house for someone to live in. I would love to live in a house like that. It is more suited to the younger couples though. I can't see people like Peter Baker living there.

Ok so its because they have money, but Tasha's weirdness could easily be encorporated into the palace.
ste Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 The reason it burnt down isn't because Zoe set fire to it, and it isn't because Hayley left the fan on. It's because the writers wanted rid of it. So I don't see it coming back any time soon. Having said that, it would be good if H&A would re-use past sets when a new set is needed instead of always making new ones. Just like bringing old characters back, im sure people would like to see old sets too.
Ryan Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 Aren't most of them destroyed though? The Stewart House - flattened Don's House - one sunk, then caught fire, only his third house survives Angel and Shane's - flattened in the earth quake I suppose there's The Lawson House however. When I watched the Donna gets battered clip the location seemed very un-Home and Away And on that not if I do get my capturing all good at the weekend I'll show you that Saul's commune in 96 ended up in the Beach House 2004.

Ryan Posted April 18, 2006 Report Posted April 18, 2006 You are sort of wrong. Sally, Shauna, Charlotte etc all lived in the same house as the Hunter's did. Charlotte and her gran lived above the Lawson's for a short while in what was basically the same set with the furnishings moved around a bit to make it look different the two times we saw it.
