Major Oak Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Hi UK fan here just wondering if anybody can tell me if Ric and Maddie are ever gona get it together? It is being teased a little bit over here right now - Cassie seems a little worried about their closeness. Now do they follow this storyline or am I hoping for a lost cause? Many Thanks for light on this one.
TabbyCool Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 I know that Cassie cheats on Ric, I'm not sure when though. So maybe he dumps her and gets together with Maddie? Don't know. They would make a nice couple, but so do Ric and Cassie.
astogirl24 Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 I don't think they do - but I have to admit that the chemistry between Matilda and Ric is so much better than between him and Cassie, they are slightly wooden.

I remember when Cassie was helping Ric get dressed and Flynn caught them and thought something was going on between them, but now that they are actually a couple they are more like friends. You never seem to see them have much physical contact, do they ever kiss or cuddle eachother? They just don't seem to act much like a couple.
astogirl24 Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Although this could be a case of careless scripts. Once a story has happened (like them getting together) sometimes they just rush on to the next one without exploring the first story - for example losing all affection.
TabbyCool Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 Yeah, Cassie is clearly bothered about Ric and Maddie, yet she never shows him any affection! The script writers need to concentrate on them more, even just the odd little gesture to show they are a couple, like maybe touching hands or quick kisses here and there. I'm not saying that they should be kissing passionately and stuff all the time, especially not after what happened with Cassie and her uncle, since stuff like that would probably be a bit awkward for her. I just think they need to show a bit more affection toward each other.
girlsrulz44 Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 i don't like ric and maddie together ric and cassie are better
TabbyCool Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 i don't like ric and maddie together ric and cassie are better <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They might be, if they would show each other some affection! Before they got together I thought they'd make a really nice couple, but now they are together it's all a bit disappointing They just don't seem like a couple at all.
cool-chick Posted November 30, 2005 Report Posted November 30, 2005 It was obv in yesterdays uk episode that cassie was jealous that ric was worried about matilda and the fact he said he loved her.

When I was a teenager one of my best friends was a boy. I didn't want to go out with him, but when he got a girlfriend I was jealous because he spent a lot more time with her and I hardly got to see him anymore. You don't have to be a couple to be jealous. The script writers just haven't given Ric and Cassie any time to develop as a couple, they act more like good friends or brother and sister than a couple. Cassie being jealous was more of a reminder that she is Ric's girlfriend, if I hadn't seen the episode where they got together I wouldn't know they were a couple based on the way they act around each other.
