claire_louise Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 It's a dinner you have at school, lol. Schools in the uk have a kitchen and they cook lunch for all the kids. They're notorious for not being very nice.
Ashirr-Leigh Posted December 8, 2005 Report Posted December 8, 2005 Not very nice is putting it mildly, lol! That was a nice interview, though. Don't really get the point in it but yeah, she came across really well.
claire_louise Posted December 9, 2005 Report Posted December 9, 2005 Lol it's a slot from the tv guide, not exactly intellectually stimulating.
-Ben- Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 This was a really cool interview. Laurie comes across as being very down-to-earth, which is probably how she is in real life. And I can totally relate to her preferring someone other than herself to cook, as she only cooks the same boring dishes. I'm the same. And Frankie, you so don't want to get F'Eck started on the gushing, 'cause you'll never get her to stop.
Frankie Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 Well If I have to listen to/read any gushing..it can be either me gushing about Paris...that guy is just to die for....or it can be F'eck gushing about Josie....I am sure both of us would gush with much more class than some of our fellow posters...and I am sure you know who I mean ...and we would not keep repeating the same thing over and over and over again...we would be thoughtful, articulate, mature intelligent women, and our words would be welcomed as beacons of hope.....in fact we would take gushing to new heights of excellence.
claire_louise Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 ^ Amen to that. ETA: Just don't mention Peter Baker.
stra gilr Posted December 10, 2005 Report Posted December 10, 2005 ^ Amen to that. ETA: Just don't mention Peter Baker. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Who?
Kimmy Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 It's a dinner you have at school, lol. Schools in the uk have a kitchen and they cook lunch for all the kids. They're notorious for not being very nice. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Do its a lunch but its called a dinner?
claire_louise Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 Yeah, it's a bit confusing in the uk, as a lot of people have their main meal in the middle of the day. It's lunchtime, but the meal is dinner, if that makes sense!
