Ryan Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I was dreading this last month and the month to come. I'd heard it was the worst period in Home and Away since Curtis left. I either I'm thinking that entertainment takes on a different form to you, or this is actually quite good.
ste Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 The only thing I don't like about the current episodes is the way Josie's character is being ruined (by the writers and the characters), but apart from that it feels just the same as the rest of 2005 has been.
claire_louise Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I think it's because the stalker thing was so hyped up, there was no way they could keep up people's interest after it ended. If they had gone straight from the stalker thing to another high-drama storyline, people would have complained that it was OTT and unrealistic. However, I do think the current storylines are a bit dull. The paternity storyline and the Josie/Macklin corp thing especially haven't captured my interest. There is some good stuff though - I like the Diesel story, the Matilda stuff and Jesse's downward spiral. And we have the 4000th ep soon so things should definitely pick up.

I like the Diesel story but couldn't they give Sally a break? Surrogacy, Flynn's drugs and almost splitting up with him, knocked off a ladder, attacked in hospital, kidnapped and almost killed, now she could lose her job! I also like the Matilda storyline, I feel really sorry for her!
