Josie

I was disapointed a few episodes ago when Josie was finally revealed to be "good" and on the side of the townspeople. I thought we might get an apology from Irene (the bully) but all she had to say in the Diner was "un-flippin-believable". Yes, even after months of bullying and childish name calling, even after she had been proved blatantly to be wrong, she couldn't even swallow her pride and say something nice. Then later when Josie came into the Diner Irene had conveniently disappeared. And where was Morag as well? Grrrrr.

As for Tasha, after weeks of being a complete cow to Josie, when she realises she was in the wrong she turns up at Josie's place with tears in her eyes, all she says is sorry and yet Josie takes her back without question. This is only months after Tasha did the exact same thing at Josie's wedding. Tasha ruined the wedding even though she knew how sorry Josie was, but went ahead and played judge and excecutioner and hurt Josie anyway, then turned up at the flat, said "sorry", and again Josie completely forgave her without question. And people have the gall to call Josie a bitch?!

I agree Ste it was a let down and like they couldn't wait to move on to the next story, I thought Morag might have had something to say as she was on Josie's tail right through the resort business but like you say where was she? I was left feeling  about the whole thing.

spelling errors had to edit :)

The apologies all occurred off screen.....as do the charcters taking a shower, eating breakfast diiner and supper, having a kip, sleeping, picking their noses, doing the washing, doing the shopping, having a chin wag over a cuppa, and all sorts of other things. They can not write in every single eventuality.

I agree with Ste.

Like I have mentioned in my previous posts Home and Away has a problem with continuity.

I hate the feel I get sometimes, like my intellegence has been insulted, the writers really should realise that the viewers do have better memories than a Goldfish.

And as a show that they watch and are fans of, of course the majority of people will care if things are just written and re-hashed to make a writers life easier.

It has nothing to do with the fact that the show is lets face it 'cheap' tv. The standard could be raised so so much if the producers/writers just took greater care over what they were doing, instead of just going "Oh yeah that will be good, lets go with that, it will get a reaction"

One problem with Welshfan's post. Characters shopping, sleeping, eating breakfast etc etc etc, are all every day occurances which we do not need to see and would in fact be boring to see every day.

Seeing a character who we have watched develop for a year being apologised to who we have witnessed facing verbal and physical abuse for months and in fact would bring closure to a storyline that has been brought to climax, is NOT an every day occurance and that's what makes it different. I wouldn't really lumber that in with characters "doing the washing", so yes, I DO expect to see this "eventuality" on screen. Hence my disapointment and the purpose of this thread.

As for Irene and Morag, they think they have the right to decide who talks to the regulars and who doesn't. Yeah well, once Josie starts mixing in with the regulars again, Irene might have to swallow her pride and start treating Josie with some respect, same goes for Morag as well. It is understandable that Josie couldn't tell the residents what was happening, and she may have saved the town from being destroyed, but yes, I can just imagine Irene especially acting like a complete bitch to Josie, Morag not being that far behind either.

Haven't seen Josie in tonights episode, maybe she'll appear in tomorrows, or todays technically.

How easily everyone accpeted it. Josie had done several other nasty things, like wiring Irene's house, sleeping with Marc, ruining Jesse's wedding. While I agree that she has made up for all of this, it does seem a bit odd that everyone is now praising her and has forgotten everything from before.

But I think it's good that she actually got some friends and that she has a good side. but I wouldn't have been too sad if Brett pushed her off the cliff.
