Ashirr-Leigh Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Yeah, I like it because I can relate to it. I reckon there will be lots of other people who can too.
Furze-Forever Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Matilda gliding around the woods stoned reminded me a bit of Mr Burns from that episode of the Simpsons where they think he's an alien. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Haha, totally
ste Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 The thing is though, alot of stupid little kids go through phases like Matilda is now. That's why I like it because it's realistic and people can surely relate to it. Obviously not to the extent of being knocked down by their brother.. but if you ignore that part, it's not so bad! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh totally. I'm sure a lot of people can relate to it. But just personally I don't like the storyline as I was always level headed as a kid and never had a phase like that.
Guevara01 Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Is she still trying to impress Diesel or has it gone past that now with the whole drug thing? I don't really get her, she was really pretty before, and what did she mean about Cassie being able to snap her fingers and get any guy, as far as i know she has only been with Ric on the show. xx
ste Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 That's the writers for you. It sounded good so they wrote it.
Furze-Forever Posted November 19, 2005 Report Posted November 19, 2005 Hmm, I disagree with your last post Ste, as the writers do write genuine good stuff, but I do agree that Cassie has only been with Ric. I see what Maddie meant though, she could pretty much get any guy she wanted - if she wanted them.
Ashirr-Leigh Posted November 20, 2005 Report Posted November 20, 2005 Ste, that's fair enough, we can't all like every storyline. I mean, I certainly wouldn't put this up as one of my favourites, it's not that good.. I just mean to say that it's not that bad either. With Home and Away having so unrealistic (but great!) storylines at the moment, it's good to see something that could easily - and does - happen in real life. With Matilda's comment about Cassie, I took it to be that she just meant Cassie is more confident around guys. She probably thinks that Cassie's prettier too and even though she's only been with Ric in the Bay.. Ric's a guy that Matilda couldn't get!
emzyflower Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I just watched tonights episode where Robbie told somebody, possibly Flynn, that he "kinda hit Matilda with my car" OMG is he for real, he just said it like it was no big deal. I thought that was really stupid, and it made me chuckle!
Guevara01 Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 I have to say it was the first episode in actually agessss when i loved Robbie!! I thought he was brilliant lol, a warped mind here, but not only did i not hate him, i was just like "woo go Robbie!!" xxxx
Ryan Posted November 21, 2005 Report Posted November 21, 2005 What I don't get is how Kane, a beefy 20 year old male is hit by a small car carrying one person and can't walk again for a few weeks. Matilda, a 15 year old girl, made of just bones is hit by a big car carrying four adults is out partying by the end of the week.
