Ashirr-Leigh Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 See, I've never really disliked Leah, just not really bothered about her before. I'd kind of switch off when she was on screen because she, as a character, just didn't appeal to me. With recent storylines in the Uk, though, that's changing!
ste Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 In general I like Leah. I like her as a background character and I like her when she has medium storyline hogg-age (couldn't think of the right word). But when she takes over the show, I can't stand her. Thankfully that hasn't really happened for a while.
Murrin Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 I have always enjoy her character but did not like one thing - when she had her big make-over. It did not ring ture for me but a part from that, I would rate this chartacter as one of my favorite.
ste Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 Yeah that whole new-look wasn't really Leah. In fact Leah's continuity over the years has been completely naff. But sometimes you just have to draw a line and move on.
Ashirr-Leigh Posted November 14, 2005 Report Posted November 14, 2005 Yeah, I suppose that didn't really fit in with who she was. However, I like 'new Leah' much better than 'old Leah'. She doesn't go on so much about the fact that she is Greek anymore.. she dresses better (if a little slutty at times!) and she seems more happy and fun, when Dan isn't breaking her heart!
ste Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 And I'm glad Alex "Alexi" is gone, because her constant nagging of him was very irritating, and not in an amusing way, but in a change-the-channel way.
Ashirr-Leigh Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Very true. She was like his mum, and she was bad enough!
claire_louise Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 I think it was a Greek thing...
Liz Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Leah used to be one of my favourite H&A characters until a couple of years ago. She was at her best when she first came to the Bay and while she was with Vinnie. Not that I'm not still a fan, but I think she needs to get some of her bubbly zest back!
ste Posted November 15, 2005 Report Posted November 15, 2005 Agreed. Bubbly silly Leah is very missed.
