MarMar Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Don't stretch it here, and they're set to fit message boards. You do have the option of not viewing the thread, though. If you don't have anything nice or constructive (on the actual shots) to say, I think you might as well just don't. I thought it was kinda common knowledge that this thread would contain rather large image files. Other people's photos are larger than mine, and you don't complain about them, do you?
Di Posted January 6, 2007 Report Posted January 6, 2007 Mar!!, I'm very sorry if it came across if I meant your pictures . I was actually trying to get your attention, as you was in here. I was actually referring to the one above yours. I'm so sorry I didn't explain myself very well did I! .
Skykat Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I've never used this thread before but I have some really pretty photos of Alvor in Portugal where I was on holiday last week. Some are stills taken from my sky helmet and others are ground photographs my mate took. There's some really pretty sunset shots so I wanted to post them because it was a gorgeous place and I'm missing it already. Besides it's my first attempt at taking stills off my skyhelmet. Most of these were taken as I came into land so theres only a split second still of the scenery before the canopy cuts in so it was quite hard to capture and I'm really pleased with myself for managing it.
Reo Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 I really like the ones that show the rock and the sunset behind. Also the 1st pic of the 2nd lot...and the waves..Infact all of them I wish i could take outside photos,Not including my garden My camera can only hold 9 pics until i spend £20 on a memory card and the batteries go out very fast.. But soon,And i live near beaches aswell
Maaike Posted January 7, 2007 Report Posted January 7, 2007 Mercury Girl, I absolutely love your work! These latest pictures are -again- so beautiful! (those colors! ) It makes me wonder if it's really that beautiful in Norway or that it's you making it so attractive. Keep on taking pictures, because they are stunning!
MarMar Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Mercury Girl, I absolutely love your work! These latest pictures are -again- so beautiful! (those colors! ) It makes me wonder if it's really that beautiful in Norway or that it's you making it so attractive. Keep on taking pictures, because they are stunning! I'll admit that there were some editing of colors - it doesn't look very natural But, yes, Norway is beautiful On these, however, there are no editing except cropping and removing lights in the distance from houses.
Reo Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Wow. Those are amazing.. You live in the best place ever to take photos. I think i like the 1st one best, but i love the close up on the stones on the 3rd picture.
Maaike Posted January 8, 2007 Report Posted January 8, 2007 Again, amazing, especially the first one. It makes me feel warm, maybe because the colors remind me of fire, but at the same time, I get the feeling that it's really cold out there - it must be the little piece of blue sky in between that red, orange, yellow-ness. It's weird, I have something with that photo, I can't stop staring at it. For me, this is the best photo you've made so far. I really can't describe how beautiful I find it. Do you sell those things? And no editing in colors? Norway: the place to be! Can I ask you a question? What does 'cropping' mean? Keep on photographing, I enjoy every piece of it, really.
Mez83 Posted January 9, 2007 Report Posted January 9, 2007 Kat those pic's are amazing!! Mar, lovin' the work! I'm going to have to put money on my credit card to get some off your deviant art account! Or maybe I should wait and see if you do that calender....hint.....hint....
