Apparently, it's supposed to be brilliant.

Loz Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 I've decided against the 360... although that's the kind of decision that may be reversed. They're selling out here as soon as the deliveries arrive in the stores. Top of my 'wanted' list right now is 'Shadow of the Colossus' on PS2. If it's half as atmospheric and absorbing as Ico, it'll be amazing. Dammit... now I'm feeling like playing games instead of doing my Uni work.

Norway is of course low on Microsoft's priority list, and although we had pre-ordered it, we decided not to get ours when the guy we know from the store we ordered it at called and said we could come pick it up. This was almost 4 weeks ago, and they haven't received another delivery. The store is even sold-out for the core system What kind of games do you like? Horror?

And Japanese RPGs, and some sim games, and adventure games with a story to them. And futuristic racers... and snowboarding/skateboarding games... and some platformers (like 'Beyond Good and Evil' which I can't recommend strongly enough!). What about you? Oh, and good luck with the 360. It must be so frustrating. UK gamers always complain about how they get worse treatment than the Americans, but I guess in the rest of Europe it's even worse.

Loz Posted December 22, 2005 Report Posted December 22, 2005 Yes!! Well... two of them. If there's more then I haven't tried the latest one. I like the camera concept a lot. I think playing a horror game is a more genuinely scary experience than watching a horror movie, if it's well made. After Project Zero and some of the Silent Hills, I've actually felt a little bit disconcerted if I'm in the house alone. I like that. Yeah, there'll be tons of 360s before long. I might wait till the price drops... when the PS3 comes out that's sure to happen.
