Price Drop & Bid TV are channels on freeview. The items start at normal retail price and there is a set quantity. You ring up a number and instantly get the item... but the price drops. The price continues to drop until the quantity is gone and everyone pays the same price.

For example if a digital camera set (media card & software included) started out with the price of £300 with the quantity of 300, it wouldn't stay at that price. As the auction goes on the price goes lower and sometimes there are big savings. When the quantity goes down to 0 and the price is something like £90 (has happened before) the auction closes with everyone paying £90.

So if you like... rang and secured your bid at £299 then you don't have to pay that.
