Nicom Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 No I didn't... and I find it fascinating.Welll, I'm 5 foot.. so that's close enough And it's not actually a Smurf costume, let me set you straight, its a few items picked up as I strolled around town at Halloween, desperately trying to get a costume for that night. It was either that or a witch... so I decided to go for the smurf. Back then, white wasn't all in, so it was really hard to find a white skirt and top - but I did it! I don't have a blue face, but I do have blue legs and arms - made from tights. No hat either unfortunately.
flutterby Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 Aaaahhh so I can create my own?! Woo! I still want to see it though! I wonder what the reaction would be if I turned up to college as a smurf....
Nicom Posted July 10, 2007 Report Posted July 10, 2007 One of great admiration that's for sure. And jealousy - who wouldn't want to be a smurf! And you've given me a brilliant idea... "How to be a Smurf, by Nicole Jay." That's a guide and a half! Hmm... what a genius thing... that would be a best seller! "Skirt - £2 from Select (reduced because of faulty zip ) 2 packs of blue Tights - £4 each from Top Shop White shoes - Nothing! Borrow from a friend.... Top - £3 from Primark" Now EVERYONE can be a smurf! Oh, but you do need blue accessories from Claire's Accessories.. just to top off the outfit.
Cal Posted July 11, 2007 Report Posted July 11, 2007 I couldn't get a good picture....so I made one of those virtual peeps... Gah! >.<
