MarMar Posted October 30, 2005 Report Posted October 30, 2005 I think it's good to have a wee bit of sanity-sanity as well, but maybe that's just me
Claire Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Mine got here a couple of days back... but only just got round to watching it (so laptop DOES play DVDs and can be made to play R4 DVDs! Always good to know) Some good stuff on there... a bit too heavy on the Robbie/Tasha side, I felt. And Bec Cartwright was overdone, as per.
Ryan Posted November 10, 2005 Report Posted November 10, 2005 Got mines on Monday. Anyway, I felt that there tried to show too much in to little a time. I mean, Angel and Shane, probbaly the greatest Home and Away love story of them all was five and half clips. There seemed to be a lot of Shannon with random guys, I mean, I know quite a bit about Home and Away if I do say so myself, but who the **** was Geoff. It also focused on that great Home and Away love story, Will and Peta, had when Gypsy met Vinnie, real good romance story that one. Alf and Ailsa was one clip, they were together for twelve years. If they do make another one, maybe less on the extras and more on the feature.
Dan F Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 Was Geoff not Geoff Thomas, brother of Mandy who Shannon ended up with?
ste Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 I don't remember that at all!!! I do remember a guy called Geoff though. He was in the navy or something? From those descriptions it sounds pretty much what I thought it was going to be. An attempt to cash in on the popularity of Bec and Tasha and Robbie, etc. One clip of Alf and Ailsa is shocking, and they clearly don't have a clue about past H&A if they are puting in random romances involving Shannon and extras, yet leaving out Selina. Shows like Buffy release great collectors DVDs for serious fans like the Willow/Buffy/Faith dvds focussing on their five best episodes. Even Neighbours released a "Best moments" Dvd. Why does H&A have to give us this cack for the teenybopper market? Can't they give the "serious" fans something too?
Trinity Posted November 11, 2005 Report Posted November 11, 2005 where can I order some Home&Away DVD's to Estonia? I've been looking for ages but I can't find it Maybe someone can help me?
Claire Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 You can order it on HMV Australia - they should deliver to Estonia. Alternatively, people could try checking out E-bay. Home and Away : Romances, on Ebay Tsk... you'd think some people were out to try and make money
teenage-monkey Posted November 13, 2005 Report Posted November 13, 2005 Do they show any of Ella as Hayley?
