What's People's Opinions On Kirsty??

I think that Christie is natually pretty and its good how shes not skinny like Tammin and Bec.

Kirsty was one of the true natural beautie's of life. She could probably walk around without any make up on, and still look beautiful. She has that kind of face where she doesn't need to put make up on just to be beautiful, she so already is. Not many people are blessed with this, but she was one of the few that was.

I dont think that this person means that all women are ugly without make-up, just that some people try too hard to look "hot" by plastering it on! Which doesnt look naturally beautiful!

I thought Kirsty was a great character. From a female perspective she never really seemed to give a damn about her appearance and just got on with things! Thats great! She is very pretty without the need for makeup and Im glad she wore mini skirts etc without complainig about thunder thighs etc! Her appearance is refreshing from the likes of Hayley and Tasha who always parade around in skimpy clothing (and Im not saying that Kirsty was fat in anyway) Kirsty always looked normal and healthy and very bubbly imo! We need more assertive females on the show, they are all getting to be like Bean poles!

I'm not saying ugly, just that they maybe need make up to bring out the beauty in them.

I thought she was naturally beautiful and got even more so as she grew up. Particularly after she came back from the city (when she got the AVO against Kane) and had changed her hair, she looked lovely. I liked it when she curled her hair for special occasions, like the recommitment ceremony and Pippa's non-Christening. I much prefer the way Christie looks to the over-styled actresses the show often has (Tammin Sursok and Kimberley Cooper are two that spring to mind). I used to like Peta for the same reason.

As an 11/12 year old, I always aspired to be as pretty as both Kirsty and Jade, as they both have the natural beauty thing going on. Of course, as they and I grew older and my... "tastes" developed , I started to feel that while Jade stayed as an icon for me, Kirsty was really hot. Is hot.

Looking at Cassie makes me sick she is too skinny. You can't be that skinny and be healthy. Thats one of the great things about Christie that she isnt stick thin. She gave insperation to girls who were normal sized. I also liked how Kirsty wore a tankini instead of a bikini as that too gave girls who were too shy to wear a bikini.insperation as nearly all the other girls wear bikinis.

Dncllpyk, I agree with you about Kirsty being a good role model to girls who aren't stick-thin, but what you said about Cassie is unfair. I know what it's like to be really skinny and have people accuse you of being anorexic etc. Just because she's thin doesn't mean she doesn't eat or isn't healthy - I eat plenty and I just don't put on weight. Some people just have a fast metabolism, that doesn't make them a bad role model!
