Dan F Posted July 7, 2005 Report Posted July 7, 2005 Theres so much we talked about I can't remember most of it! It's really one of those thing where you had to be there! Laurie and her partner were with us for most of the night and we had a really good chat! Ada and Laurie had a little chat about the food programme they'd done - Laurie said that Ada has a giggle for every occasion! Some Queen came on and Laurie told me that 'Another One Bites The Dust' was the first tape she bought, then we had a bit of a chat about 'We Will Rock You' The Musical that we'd both previously seen in London. Mick was also a real laugh - nothing like Rhys! It was just general chit-chat really - to be honest we didn't discuss the show that much so didn't get any gossip - though Laurie backed up what she said in the interview about wishing they'd taken some of Josie's storylines further. She even told us one of the storyline ideas that she had given the script producer - that Josie was being haunted by Angie in her dreams - would have been interesting! Laurie filmed her bit for 'The Crunch' on Tuesday - she entered via a slide and then did a quick fire round, apparently she had a great time! At the moment it looks as though Laurie's appearance will air on Thursday 14th July - but that isn't confirmed!

Andy Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 She even told us one of the storyline ideas that she had given the script producer - that Josie was being haunted by Angie in her dreams - would have been interesting! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh my god... that would of been brilliant!

eib Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 Just saw Isabel and Ada on Nickelodeon - I thought someone said Ada was very reserved? She was doing all the talking, I don't think Isabel said one thing! The presenter called Isabel "Isabella" and she called Jason "Robbie" on Wednesday - I wonder if she'll call Laurie "Josie" or "Angie"?

Loz Posted July 8, 2005 Report Posted July 8, 2005 She even told us one of the storyline ideas that she had given the script producer - that Josie was being haunted by Angie in her dreams - would have been interesting! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh my god... that would of been brilliant! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Wouldn't it?! Actually, that just reminded me of something else Laurie said, which was that she had been really surprised sometimes that speculation about her upcoming stories on the site came so close to what was actually about to happen. From what I gathered, she didn't make a habit of reading the forum posts, but did occasionally check in. And that made me *really* pleased that there had been such a positive response to her work on here. She really genuinely seemed to be touched by the support she'd had on H&A and the fact that people were totally behind her. Oh, and she put her return as Josie down to the 'whinge factor' of the fans after Angie was killed off. I think the best thing about the night was that we got to see the actors (for me, yes, Laurie in particular!) in a more relaxed atmosphere than an official appearance would have been. Oh and eib, it might have been my comment about Ada that you took to mean that she was reserved. I *think* I said understated, (having memory issues today!) and what I meant was that she was just really chilled, calm, not 'actressy'. I really liked that. Also, both Laurie and her partner mentioned the website she's thinking of setting up. Which I took as a good sign. How cool would that be?!
