Anyone else think that DH has gotten a bit boring recently?? Omg no I think its the best it ever has been !! Although the last 2 episodes have been a bt boring but still was really good
Lise Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 We had the first episode of the new season here last night. I was really excited with them going foward five years and it was good in parts but other's it just seemed to drag. I could have fallen asleep most of Bree's scenes apart from the one with Danielle. Still love Edie. Gaby's storyline is interesting but I've always loved Gaby. I forgot until she mentioned it that Carlos was blind. Susan has always been a meh for me but when Mike was standing outside her window I almost fell off my seat. I thought she was seeing a ghost! Lynette storyline was always going to be interesting with her boys growing up. They are cute!
halcyon06 Posted February 16, 2009 Report Posted February 16, 2009 Well we are a good bit ahead in Ireland (I think) and the only episode I found interesting was this complete random episode (I wont spoil it for you) that had nothing to do with any storyline really. It was the first time I cried watching DH in ages! I think from season 1-3 it was amazing, but as for season 4? There were a few episodes/scenes that I loved (The cyclone thing, Lynette finding out she didnt have cancer, ect) but overall, it was boring compared to other years. Lynette pretty much kept it going for me! So far I haven't enjoyed season 5 that much either.
Nathan. Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I was a bit disappointed by the first episode. It didn't seem to have the same spirit that the other seasons had. Perhaps I'm still adjusting to the five-year jump. Is it just me or have Lynette's kids grown up A LOT in the last five years?
suzannelgnz Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Good Point Nathan, I think they have almost grown up a bit too much. The first ep back was pretty good, It kind of had it's ups and downs.
Nathan. Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 Just did some research and the actors who play the twins are 20 years old, but are playing 16 year olds. But there is no way that the Scavo twins were 11 last season.
Lise Posted February 17, 2009 Report Posted February 17, 2009 I did think that they had aged a bit quickly. TV has never seemed to like children around the age the twins should be now.

The 5th season definitely takes quite a while to settke back into it but now its like there was no jump at all. Season 5 is definitely the best season yet in my opinion closely followed by season 3 but season 4 as you said was not the best. By the way IrishGirl06 was your favourite episode the Eli Scruggs one ??
