Drew Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 I'm sure he knows where he's going because from the beginning he's had a 7-year story arc planned. It's just I don't think it's going to work, even though he does know where he's going with it. I got that impression last night with Dylan/Zach, but didn't see the similarities between Orson/Alma and Katherin and her ex. I've been good to not see how this season ends so I'm not going to make any harsh decisions even though it does end the way season one did, I don't know how the mystery is going to evolve. I'm quite excited about it though with all the flashbacks, but I don't think any mystery kept me really hooked like season three's one... That was just great, it felt alot like season one getting all the characters involved in the mystery again. It was just really thrilling and suspensful. Has anyone else though thought this season has gone really quickly? I know it was cut a few episodes short, but it just felt like the other day when Edie hung herself and that was this time last year... Time flys so fast these days.
tvtalk Posted June 7, 2008 Report Posted June 7, 2008 I dont know much about desperate housewives but my mom and my sister are discussing on this topic. yeah i guess they was saying that there is all wife are going her way. they never listen anybody..is it truth? and plz tell me story of this show..well according little anyone can guess that what is inside of this show but however i want to know.
Luc Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 'The Gun Song' - one of the best episodes ever - I can't go to much into detail as the UK haven't got up to the finale, but it was amazing
Drew Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 OK... Spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. * * * * * * * * OMG... That had to be one of the most horrifying and terrifying things that I've ever seen on TV... That whole flashback sequence It had so much shock value, I just screamed the word F**K when the original Dylan had... You know... The episode was a good way to tie up loose ends though, like Ally being thrown into the Katherine drama with her getting shot after being on the run, Tom and Lynette reconciling after trying to give advice to Lee and Bob etc... Great episode. Have to watch it again!
Luc Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I know what you mean! (Possible spoilers for people who haven't seen the episode) * * * * * * * * I was so horrified when, you know, occured to real Dylan. That hand, and Katherine's scream .It was terrifying, as you have pointed out. Ally just happening to choose the Mayfair house to hide in - I had to laugh because I knew what was going to happen next, and you know what, I was right - still a dramatic thing though. I can't wait until next season! Some great one-liners to that I will repeat once the UKers have caught up to us.
Drew Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I'm still not liking the 5 year gap though... Like seriously, WTF happened to Mike?
Luc Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 That's what's bugging me! And they'd just named baby Maynard too! I'm liking new Gabi though, I think I can repeat this phrase... Gabi: My Vera Wang! (If you've seen the ep, you'll know why it's funny ) Was it just me, or did Andrew's accent seem a bit heavier than normal after the time jump? Also, I always assumed Lynette's kids would grow up like that
Drew Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Well Andrew would now be a "man" so I guess he's now the responsible adult. I do like Gabi's story though, her's and Lynette's would most likley be the best... I can already see the backlash though with Susan's story. Oh, and BTW. It was GREAT to see Mary Alice again. I loved it!
Luc Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 I forgot abut Mary-Alice - it was awesome to see her again - I love Brenda Strong as an actress, and I'm glad she gets to showcase her talent every now and again (although she had very little to do tonight).
Drew Posted June 16, 2008 Report Posted June 16, 2008 Yeah, it was a short stint... I actually jumped out of my skin hoping that more characters would pass by... Like Martha could have been earsdropping on the Wayne/Katherine showdown... Man, I loved her character!
