claire_louise Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Just watched the latest Channel 4 episode and it said 'Desperate Housewives will be back later in the year' ??? What??? I haven't read all the pages on this thread due to lack of time, so can someone tell me what's going on? Thanks I have no idea what's going on either. I checked the tv guide and it definitely isn't on next week, but last night's episode was not the end of the series. I'm seriously unimpressed.
Miranda Posted May 29, 2008 Report Posted May 29, 2008 Yes, that is bizarre. I wonder if its something to do with Big Brother
beckyboo Posted May 31, 2008 Report Posted May 31, 2008 I though it was something to do with the writters strike but then DH got 6 new eps!? What number was the one on weds?!
summer_bay_rules Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 It won't be on for a while because at this point the Writers Strike happened and so channel 4 has to take a break! They were considering ending the series but decided to just split the series up into 2 parts. So it will be back later in the year.
claire_louise Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 I did consider the writer's strike but I don't understand why Channel 4 can't air the episodes if they've already been shown in the US?
ezaz8 Posted June 1, 2008 Report Posted June 1, 2008 ggggrrrrrrrr it's so annoying! the rest of the flipping world has seen these episodes except for us! how annoying.
carmelle Posted June 2, 2008 Report Posted June 2, 2008 Maybe Channel 4 haven't receieved the new epsiodes yet? At least I'm hoping that's the reason and not something ridiculous like BB!
Formerly Known as FKAJ Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 Is anyone else a little worried by this season's mystery? It's repeated twists from two previous seasons: first that Katherine is suspected of killing her husband until he shows up (Orson and Alma) and then it turns out that Dylan isn't really their daughter (Zach). And once again the season ends with an armed siege. (Matthew, Bree and Danielle; Zach, Mike and Susan) I can't help but feel like they may be running out of ideas.
Luc Posted June 3, 2008 Report Posted June 3, 2008 I agree with that, I don't think Marc Cerry planned well enough this season, and he also had the stroke of 'genius' by jumpin 5 years forward and axing Lyndsy Fonseca and Andrea Bowen and no, I am not going to get over it
