Here's the season 4 cover for Desperate Housewives Season 4 (Yes, it's American, I'll aknowlege that, but we've got the same artwork for the other three seasons, so why should this one differ)

One thing that bothers me. As it says in the artice, where is Dana Delany? She's sticking around for season 5, isn't she one of the Housewives?

Oooo. I like.

The core housewives have aways been Bree, Lynette, Susan, Gabbie and Edie. I think it makes sense that they're leaving Kathryn out, she's a character mainly used for the fourth season mystery, like Betty was in season two. Even if she's still around int he 5th season, the main focus has always been those five women. If anything, why isn't Brenda Strong on the cover. She has the first and last words in every episode.

^ Totally agree with you there, I hadn't thought about it like that. And yes, why isn't Brenda Strong with them. Without Mary-Alice there would be no series. Me, honestly, I don't like that picture of them, looking at it, it has been photoshoped to the point you can tell - Nicolette Sheridan has almost no neck and Eva Longoria-Parker (have to get used to that :P) has two different colour legs (you can barley see that one, but it's there - it think ) - also, Felicity Huffman's neck looks too long.

POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT

THIS HAS NOT BEEN CONFIRMED:

Although it's totally a rumor, we hear there may be a big plot twist that will change "Desperate Housewives" forever. The buzz has creator Marc Cherry planning to turn back time -- or speed the clock ahead -- in order to shake up Wisteria Lane even more than that recent tornado did!

Actor James Denton, who plays plumber Mike Delfino, added major fuel to the fire during an interview with Chicago radio station WTMX. "I don't know if you've [heard] there's supposedly a big time jump at the end of this season, either forward or backward a number of years," he said. "So we'll lose some cast members. That's what we've been told, so none of us are feeling too smug. We're just waiting to see how it shakes out." (This time jump just might be the way Nicollette Sheridan's Edie Britt gets written off the show!)

Whether the Housewives go back or forward, the juicy plot possibilities are endless. For his part, James can only hope to be among the cast members who survive the time warp. "If they go backward [in time], you know, Delfino wasn't even there yet," he said. "If they go forward, by then Susan's baby will be 6 or 7 years old and all that stuff, so it's going to be tricky. But I think it'll enable the writers to do some really creative things and sort of reset the show."

We'd love if it "Desperate Housewives" flashes back to before Mary Alice's suicide, so she can quit narrating and be a full-time Wisterian at last.

What time-twisting scenario would you like to see play out on "DH"?

Unfortunately, that is true :( Marcia Cross confirmed it on Ellen (Degeneres), Ugh, god knows how they're gonna pull that off. The Scavo kids will obviously have to be recast

Just saw the 2 tornado episodes. LOVED them. The shot of the tornado behind the houses is stunning, so detailed with all the debris flipping in the air and all the trees blowing violently, I know it sounds simple, but it must have been a very complicated shot, being shot on a sunny day and all.......

Its a good thing the whole street is a big fake set, they wouldn't have been able to pull that off on a real one. It was really sad when Parker (?) told Lynette about Ida saving their lives by staying in the corner. :(

Have they actually said that the time shift will be permanent? It would work well for one episode, but I'm not sure about a permanent jump, especially not a backwards one. What would be the point?

From what I've heard, the time jump is for one episode only. And in it, Bree will be similar to Martha Stewart. As for the DVD covers, Edie wasn't on it for the first season's. She was just on the back cover. She was never meant to be a permanent character, actually.

I reckon the flashback will work, as it will give us an insite into the housewives lives before Mary-Alice killed herself - although one episode might not be enough - I would really love if it were for at least half a season, which ends with a huge storyline whih carries over to the present. Yeah, Edie was meant for the first season only as a recurring character -but she grew in popularity and Nicolette Sheridan was cast as a full time.

I don't know why I posted them - but if I had to make an educated guess, it would be to show the people who havn't got the DVD's what they look like.

I've heard the time warp thing a few weeks ago, but it was going back in time. First I've heard about it going forward... I read that it would only be for one season only, I think it could work... They did the flashbacks for the season 2 finale, it worked well, but I just loved seeing what everyone else was up to before Mary Alice killed herself... It will be a big change in the cast if they go back though. Orson, Mike, the gay guys, the Scalvo kids etc to name a few... The only one thing I can't wait to see if they do go back in time will be Martha! They killed her off so suddenly, she's still one of my favourites even though they killed her 10 episodes into the series. Even if they do jump back, Julie, Zach etc for one will look a little old to play ten year olds so there will be alot of cast changes, and in the street as well.

It's a good idea, but it will need alot of work involved, hopefully they can pull it off.
