Apparently a main character does go out of it, so it might be Edie

I loved Mike and Susan's wedding, it was so sweet. The end scene was powerful and shocking!!

This sounds pretty far-fetched, but contactmusic.com says that David Beckham and Robbie Williams are going to play a gay couple on the next season of "Desperate Housewives". They will play the friends of a new gay couple that move into the neighbourhood. The show's creator, Marc Cherry, says; "David's keen, but though the obvious choice was to work with Tom Cruise, we wanted someone who matches him in height and well, Britishness, so Robbie is the one. They're both funny, game for a laugh and ridiculously macho, so it should work wonderfully”

There were rumours of David Beckham and Robbie Williams being the gay couple but i think they were only ever Marc Cherrys ideal choice. The real actors were toady announced as Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm.

Tuc Watkins and Kevin Rahm have signed up to play a gay couple on the new season of Desperate Housewives.

Watkins, known for his roles on Showtime series Beggars and Choosers and ABC soap opera One Life To Live, and Rahm, who starred alongside Jude Law in Alfie, will join Wisteria Lane as new residents in season four.

Show creator Marc Cherry announced his plans to introduce a gay couple earlier this month, adding that one of the men would have a "hateful" relationship with Susan Mayer.

Desperate Housewives returns to US screens on September 30.
