Martin2013 Posted February 17 Report Posted February 17 On VHS I've got the Pilot episode, the Classic Home and Away (5 episodes), the 2000th episode celebration, an Australian release with 2 mid 90s episodes and Secrets In The City. On DVD I have Secrets In The City and Romances but not "Hearts Dividened". 2 Quote
shannon12 Posted February 17 Author Report Posted February 17 I've got secrets in the city dvd . Romances and wedding dvds. Got the 200th episodes celebration on dvd as well. Got the classic home and away video. Pity the classic home and away video 5 episodes isn't on dvd as well. Quote
Homeandawayfan. Posted February 20 Report Posted February 20 I had the 5 episode H&A Classic on VHS about 28/30 years ago. I think one episode was Roo's non wedding to Frank, and the aftermath of Meg's death and Blake crying on the beach. I cannot remember the other 3 but I do not think the first ever regular episode was on the list, the one after the pilot movie. I once considered writing to Jimmy Savile on Jim'L Fix it to see if he could get a clip of the first ever episode of H&A and show it on his show. 1 Quote

shannon12 Posted February 20 Author Report Posted February 20 OK. I take it that's not a smart tv. Quote

cymbaline Posted February 25 Report Posted February 25 Whether a TV is "smart" or not is irrelevant here. A Smart TV is simply a television with built-in apps. The real issue seems to be the lack of compatible connectors on modern televisions. For example, the VCR we had at home in the '90s connected to our TV using a SCART lead. If I wanted to use that same VCR today, I'd need to buy a SCART-to-HDMI adapter first. Quote
Light of the Bay Posted March 3 Report Posted March 3 Noticed Channel 5 have started airing classic episodes of the x files. Though I do love me some Dana Scully… So, I have emailed again making them aware there are those of us who would appreciate reliving some of the older (pre 2011!!) episodes of the show. I mean, surely they could show them on 5* in the afternoons or something? I suggested something akin to the 25th anniversary year where fans got to vote on the website for classic episodes they’d like to see from each year. 2 Quote

I remember the losing episode always ended up online exclusively. Quote
