As far as I'm aware, he had to leave Nina and Ava behind when he went into witness protection, but would he have risked relationships or one-night stands while in witness protection? When Tori is applying for the head of the ED job, it's mentioned that she's worked at 4 hospitals in 3 years, so they were moving around a bit. Quote

I'm pretty sure it's mentioned that Justin was mainly doing one night stands and not getting close to anyone until Pheobe. Mason has a gf. Brody and Tori were being careful. Quote

We all know show allergic to any characters who under 18 which retcon child of Justin woud be. But then again we had younger ones Roo fosted this year. So guess it possible but they only be guest characters and another long term character history wrecked for no reason. Wouldn't exactly be surprised if it happens but so pointless when you've got Ava ready to go instead Quote
Homeandawayfan. Posted Saturday at 14:08 Report Posted Saturday at 14:08 The Beach House was owned I think, by Ernie Jacobs in 1990 when it first featured. Always interesting to wonder who lived in the first Stewart house before the Stewart's or Donald Fisher's first house before he moved in. I guess we will never know, I am not sure if it was ever mentioned in the show. When H&A began, Alf Stewart was like the Des Clarke of the show, a neighbour to the main family/families that featured. I'd say Alf was more like the Max Ramsay (1st family of the area, arguibg with his sister), though 2020s Des could blow his top if wound up (tore Sheila a new one when she tried to use him to make Jane and Clive jealous). 1 Quote

Wouldn't exactly be surprised if it happens but so pointless when you've got Ava ready to go instead I agree it would be pointless but all the other retcons -Martha, Keiran Mick, Heather were guest characters anyone. Quinn was even brought back for a quick guest appearance - which feels like a massive waste. I'm very glad we got Ryder out of but there was so much potential with Quinn sticking around the rest of the Stewart's. There could have been resentment between Roo and her being the outsider, lots of potential drama with Alf. I can definitely see them do a storyline with Justin having a child while in witness protection that he didn't know about it, even if it's just a guestie. Having it be a villian seems like something the show would do. 1 Quote

Alf was more kindly than Max but I feel both had similar tempers and a shouty demeanour, and were proper old school Australian men, often pulling rank by saying Erinsborough and Summer Bay were founded by their forefathers. EastEnders had the Beale's as Albert Square's first family, but they did not often point it out the way Alf and Max did. The rainy streets of Walford in the East End of London were a world away from the sun kissed Erinsborough and Summer Bay on the other side of the world. Quote

cymbaline Posted 3 hours ago Report Posted 3 hours ago I could see Donald Fisher being the first owner of his house, because he had been living in the area for many years. I have my doubts about Alf's house. He and Roo were only living in that house for a couple of years before the show began. It looked like an older house, inside and out. Quote
