Couples who became friends after dating

Hi. So after Bree said in the last episode that no one can be friends with their ex’s it’s got me wondering how many previous couples became friends after dating first. I don’t remember many of them.

Kirsty/Nick

Pretty much any of the pairings from the speed-dating from the last 10 years where both people have stuck around for a while

Others from the early years era: 

• Sally and Vinnie
• Jack and Selina 
• Kirsty and Nick
• Kirsty and Seb
• Hayley and Sam?

It's hard to remember with some pairings whether they became actual friends after dating or they just co-existed in the show at the same time. For example, I can't remember if Vinnie had much to do with Justine after they broke up or not. The same for Carly and Matt/Andrew Foley/Adam - Matt, Adam and Marilyn all hung out, whereas Carly moved on with Ben, but Carly likely still interacted in Diner and group scenes. I guess there's a difference between actual friendships (those examples I listed) and characters who just had incidental interactions.

You could probably add Donald and Ailsa to the list too, since we leared they dated briefly when she first moved to Summer Bay.

The thing with Don/Maz is it was reported that she wouldn't see him when he did, her own admission when she returned in 2010.

He did have her back when Ryan was using her to get to Lou (chewed him out for it).and She was about the only person who believed him about NOT being Shauna's stalker.
