Hello folks,

I am looking for info. For a while, the website 7plus was showing re-runs of the 2023 Home And Away series, and before I could finish watching episodes 8132 - 2Oct23  to  8175 - 29Nov23, the 2023 series got taken down, even thogh 2022 and 2024 remained.  So now,  7Plus will not re-post them, and nor can I find 2023 episodes anywhere else. I can not even find a summary iof the events in the shows. Many sites have a one or two line summary that is so vague and scant as to be worthless. (and yes, yourself included).

So I am falling to the conclusion that there is some kind of political or power struggle or dispute going on within Channel 7 executive or staff, possibly actors also, as to why even 7Plus will not re-release these episodes even just to me for private viewing and then they self-delete after an agreed time period. (yes, technology can do this).

The standard 7Plus reply is

Hi Wayne Williams008,
Unfortunately, we currently don't have information to expect older seasons or episodes of the show to be added to 7plus.

All content on 7+ is subject to the rights agreements we have in place between each show, season and episode.

As the content you are enquiring about is not presently available on 7+, I have added this to our 7+ Viewer Requests Register for consideration in making it available in the future.

I hope this helps!

I am trusting there is someone within your organisation who may have some better information.

There's a number of complexities with this, covering everything from rights to royalties.  There may be certain limitations on how long an episode can remain on the broadcaster's streaming service, for example.  It could even come down to pieces of background music that are no longer licensable, or a disgraced personality features in the programme.  It could literally be anything.

They certainly won't release episodes privately, though.
