When have you felt the show was going through a low point

It's doubtful they asked Matt Doran or Tina Thomsen either, even though both are still in the industry. Matt gave an interview and sounded like he was keen to come back as Damian. Tina Thomsen runs an acting school and I'm sure she'd have been delighted to be asked back. 

Guess two sides to every story. Her departure was originally surrounded in acrimony wasn't it?

Honestly, I think the show is currently going through one of the lowest points its ever had.  There are a lot of bland rinse and repeat characters in it.  The complete removal of teens and fostering from the show has taken it drastically away from its roots and it just feels like now all it is is relationship drama, Tane being a complete idiot, or the music obsession.

My favourite period was probably 2004 - 2008 when you can characters like Tasha, Robbie, Beth, Matilda etc.

I feel like if teens/foster familes back it roots would come back, also i feel like they should bring someone from the past kid in as a main perhaps Ollie Phillps, Lily Nash or Noah Hyde like they did with Olivia. I also feel like more past characters returns a year would benefit the show people like Martha Mackenzie would be great or people from the early days of the show.

Yeah I agree with you there.  Bringing back a past kid would be a great way to connect the past with the present show and tbh it'd make me more interested again, and so would more past characters.  I loved it when Olivia was brought in as I remembered Chloe and I remember her death being a shock.  And even the way Olivia called Irene Reenie was a nice throw back to what her mother and Tasha used to call her (of the ones that I remembered).

I'd love to see Martha back and especially if Jodi Gordon would come back.  I think it's shocking really that Roo has been back all these years yet they've never brought Martha back.  I know she's supposed to have seen her off-screen, but it'd be a really good opportunity to explore their relationship and give Roo more to do.
