Should Seven put Home and Away episodes on Youtube?

I contacted them  then  as well  they said  they were looking  into early  episodes of  it but couldn't  confirm  anything.

I did contact Channel 5 before Christmas and asked if they had any plans for airing classic episodes again. They said they had something in the works but I’m not so sure… In this age of streaming it’s a damn shame that no one is doing anything. 

I think you're right but I don't get their logic. Acting like it never happened doesn't do the show any justice and making it available doesn't do anything to hurt it. It would just be available on their channel or YouTube so it's not like it would be shown on 7TWO again if that's what they're wanting to avoid.

I might contact them again, I think there’s more chance of Channel 5 doing this than the 7 network.

I totally agree, it’s hard to comprehend their logic. I can’t see at all how it would hurt the current show to embrace the past a bit more - uploading even a selection of classic episodes surely does nothing to harm the current output. 
 

I must be getting nostalgic in my advancing years (although I’m only 29 ) but honestly I want to see episode 3445 again so much! That’s the EP when Ailsa appears as a ghost and Alf has to choose whether to move on with Ailsa or to go back and live!

They just  sent me a link with  their previous  reply  on which  said  they are  looking  into  early  episodes  but nothing   has  been confirmed yet.

Unfortunately not. Most things are streaming now. The time to put classic episodes on DVD was ages ago. If they didn't do it then, I seriously doubt they'll do it now. 

Neighbours out classic episodes on DVD and transitions to streaming when they became more common. Home and Away could skip straight to streaming but they won't even do that regularly.
