Should Seven put Home and Away episodes on Youtube?

  Especially when she have so many other classic Australian dramas available on 7Plus spanning from the early 80s through to the 2000s and beyond. 

I do think it's more of a denial of H&A's and downplay H&A's true age. We've seen that with recent anniversaries.

It’s a shame we never got to see beyond  Shane’s funeral in 1996  in the  uk we have had nothing for years repeated. Bar Christmas specials come on 5 star show 1996 to 2000 if you get the rights or the question is does itv own them years in the uk

My understanding is that 7 owns the rights to Home and Away, and that Endemol is the European distributor. ITV, Channel 5, and the other overseas broadcasters simply license the show from them but don't own the rights themselves. Neighbours was different because some of its funding was coming directly from 5.

I'm watching the Neighbours reruns at the moment its been fantastic to see these in high quality as i haven't seen 1985-8 in HQ at all i only started watching the early Neighbours episodes when they were showing 1990 in 2002

as for H&A i'm not sure most of Australia's fans saw (maybe even recorded?) 1988-March 1996 on 7two? i'd personally start from after Shane's funeral

As someone who did watch those episodes (or at least the eras I wanted to!), I'd like to start from March 1996 though. Given what you said though, it would likely start from the beginning again though and it would be years before we get to 1996.
