After Irene's exit I am curious to know who you might think will be next?

Sadly Alf, but only because of the actor's age. The others are years younger, especially Leah and Justin.

Ray Meagher is 81 but still a few years younger than other soap actors who appear regularly in soaps such as Bill Roache, Babs Knox, and Rudolph Walker in EastEnders.

Been meaning to ask is there a known reason for her absence? Like is she doing a known project right now?

She was doing another play at the Ensemble Theatre at the time these eps were filmed.

Then it seems she'll be heading on another break within a few months, as she's been filming a new miniseries and set to do another play at the Ensemble from May until June.
