Which Five relationships are your all time favourites and why?

Obviously everyone watched the show during different periods, I'm just curious which relationships are everyone favourite and why they love each one. 

 

My top 5 in No Particular Order

 

Cash & Jasmine, they both had silmar upbringing and were so supportive of each other through the good and bad times. Cash was the first person since Robbo that Jasmine fully trusted to build a relationship with and he made sure she knew he would never leave her. Gutted with how it ended they were perfect together.

 

Pippa & Tom, the original parents of the bay. The older relationship that I love most I hope I find someone who loves me as much as they did each other. They clearly meant everything to each other, she always mentioned him whenever she returned to Summer Bay and Tom wanting Sally to tell Pippa he was waiting for her proven that he would always be there for her.

 

Sally& Flynn. My favourite relationship ever, soulmates, they belonged together. No one ever came close to Flynn for Sally that was clear when she couldn't marry Brad because she didn't want to marry anyone besides Flynn. Flynn cared for her so much, stood by her through so much and I was devastated that they got torn apart so soon.

 

Mackenzie & Logan. Okay maybe they didn't last as long as Mackenzie's other ships but I enjoyed them way more.  I wish they were endgame instead of her and Levi.

 

Leah & Miles. The only time I really loved Leah was when she was with Miles. Miles bought out the best in Leah and they had gone through silmar things in life so they understood each other.

Jade and Nick - forever my favourite ever couple in H&A history and I don’t see that changing. Had a very little drama relationship on screen for almost 2 years. Was obvious they were meant to be from their first meeting and I will never forgive the writers for them not ending up together.

Sally and Flynn - Sally’s best pairing. Her soulmate. The father of her kids foster or otherwise. They were made for each other.

Leah and Vinnie - Leah’s best pairing. They were fun together and she showed him how to be a grown up.

Gyspy and Will - They ended up together the first time. Bringing them back ruined that.

Kirsty and Kane - the couple that proved they could withstand anything together. Let’s forget they ever came back to the bay.

It's honestly a shame the producers wasted so much time with time. Miles stayed nearly four years, so if they got together within the first few months, we got have had a decent amount of them as a couple, and avoided Miles/Kirsty, Leah/Roman and Leah/Elijah. 

 

My top five in no order: 

• Edward and Peta - I loved their romance and the fact they stayed together throughout his diagnosis etc. Admittedly, Peta is pretty much only remembered for the romance though and didn't add much as an individual character. 
• Tom and Pippa - Vanessa and Roger had great chemistry, even when they were arguing. Given how central they were, it's a shame we only got two years of them as a couple and they didn't become the backbone of the 90s like Michael and Pippa did.  
• Vinnie and Leah  - the only love interest I've truly enjoyed Leah with. They were cute together and she was great for Vinnie's character development. 
• Alf and Ailsa - a constant of the early years was Alf and Ailsa, so much so that it became hard to imagine one without the other at the time. 
• John and Marilyn - I love their chemistry and how they were a bit chalk and cheese. 

Honourary mentions to Travis and Rebecca, Don and Marilyn and Steven and Selina.

Even though not together Irene and John have a nice friendship

My list 

Alf and Ailsa-Back bone of the show for first 12 years and no doubt if Judy Nunn hadn’t decided to leave, they would continue on as backbone of show.

 

Neville and Floss- I know this might seemed an odd choice as they left very early on and they were rather one dimensional, but you still couldn’t have one without the other and the actors did pair well with each other. 

Tom and Pippa-First Parents on show that bought us Summer Bay.

Michael and Pippa-Despite preferring Tom and Pippa I still do feel that Pippa and Michael really did bring strong realism being together as they were together in real life . 
 

Matt and Evie-Despite getting together just before they left after being friends for years but build up to their characters maturing and getting together was great development and good ending for characters
