I’m glad that Remi accepted Bree sleeping with him for what it was, it was refreshing as I was expecting him to take her still leaving badly.

Alf still volunteers for the SES? I don’t think we’ve seen him in his orange suit since the great storm in 2011.

Well, I've never been offered goodbye sex from an ex when they leave town.

Also, a bit of a retcon when back in Autumn the whole reason Bree called it off is sex was too emotionally painful after he screwed Avalon?

A decent finale for Juliet Goodwin though, given her exit felt very blink and you miss it compared to the drawn out one Irene/Lynne got which is understandable but that was the last non-tragic exit we've seen as viewers, Theo couldn't have any build up.

I have even though we didn’t say goodbye but we knew it was the last time even though my girlfriend did pop back from time to time

I’m glad Bree has gone she was never a favourite of mine now we need to get rid of Mac Mali Tane Leah

I think Mac cancelled Eddie's night as it clashed with Bree's leaving do and she thought it may be awkward with both Bree and Remi there.  But she did check with both and they were OK about it so uncancelled it.  More time has passed from Remi 's cheating with Avalon so Bree may have been in a better place and Remi has got his head and heart around her leaving.  More good advice from Dana suggesting Bree tell Remi she's  leaving the next day, being with Sonny is rubbing off on her.   I liked Remi and Bree's goodbye bonk, for them it was the right thing to do. One point thought, did they shut the front door as it was open when they first snogged, they wouldn't  have wanted to be interrupted during their afternoon delight would they? 😉

Sonny caught on pretty  quick when  he saw those looks between Remi and Bree, but Remi  was a gentleman and didn't say anything.

In one way it would make sense for Harper and Archie to move into the Diner flat, but there are two things to consider,  Dana running it by Sonny to see if he is fine about it, btw who's going to be paying the rent now Bree's gone and what are they going to do with Archie's buggy, will they be dragging it up and down the steps or leaving it at the bottom?   That was a  mixed message from Harper when Tane said he'd be getting a solicitor.  I guess  it would be problematic if Tane had the same address if a solicitor  is getting involved, been fine until now as it meant  Archie wouldn't be trundled between homes.

May have come out of the blue but Eden volunteering for that community  support group does sound like a good idea. She does have experience of being in traumatic experiences, kidnapped at least twice,  got caught up in the accident driving Helicity to her Wedding so can emphasise.  All she needs to do now is tell Cash.  There would have been plenty of other disasters that have hit the bay, helicopter crashes, fires, etc.  which Alf would have assisted in.

We've definitely seen Alf in SES uniform in the last 15 years, although it might have been a while. The only one I can definitely pin down is the plane crash in...2016? I seem to remember them looking for a missing person at one point, but I can't think exactly who so it might be either that or something before that. (There was something in 2014 but it feels like it's since then.)

Anyway, I hope the people who keep dogmatically insisting that the younger characters never interact with the stalwarts saw that Alf/Marilyn/Eden scene! It is a bit of a shame that Eden has given up on music, but this does at least give her a purpose beyond working in Salt if they can get it off the ground.

Remi didn't seem to immediately grasp that Bree wasn't interested in getting back together, she's lucky that he went along with it. So in the end Bree's farewell dinner consisted of her and Mackenzie: That was worth nearly shutting down the gig for. She got her farewell with Dana yesterday but not giving her the car keys in person feels like a missed opportunity. But anyway, yeah, she's not been my favourite but I don't begrudge her a positive exit.

It's kind of ironic that the recap goes from Harper insisting "I'd never do that to you!" to...her doing that to him. Move out, fine, but not telling Tane where she's going is just petty and has caused me to lose a bit of sympathy for her. Is Cash allowed to tell him or is he sworn to secrecy? That was bad timing on just about every level for Tane to proposition Jo, and Mackenzie probably should have advised caution. To be honest, I wasn't that impressed with Eddie's song. Lacey seems oddly to be leaning towards Team Eddie. David being there is less of a surprise.

His little orange number came out in the opening week of 2017 in the bushfire rescue op.

Oh man, this Leah storyline is getting painful.  We had that beautifully acted scene from Jeremy and Madison going into the ad break and then we come back to The Sonny & Leah Show.

So is that it, has Jo made her choice?  I feel like we've missed two chances for a male MH storyline recently.  Firstly John post-Irene and now with Tane potentially losing Archie over the idea of his Grandmother, who we know has a colourful past, playing a role in his life and now his on-off bit on the side has run back to her ex.  At least we now know why David has been quite openly forcing the relationship to get back on.

What I can't understand, though, is why the accident would have ended the relationship. If you were that close to a proposal, then why would you break up over something like that?  Something like that normally strengthens a relationship.

I’m pretty far back when Mac returns where she was basically really horrible to Levi but of course he forgave her that was awful I did roll my eyes

Surely if you lose a baby you buy flowers run each other baths be gentle not scream at each other

Then we had Leah shouting at Lacey again I had to switch it off it was just really loud boring background noise haha awful I do wish they would move on from Theo abit now

I did think Marilyn fainting abit silly as well

It was quite an understated exit for Bree and I see Juliet Godwin is still in the opening credits but I  guess she'll be  missing next week.  Dana was working so she so that is why she wasn't at the do or the next morning.

Methinks David was guilt tripping Jo when he told her about Eddie asking his and Kristine's permission to ask Jo to marry him. David may like to have Eddie as a son-in-law but he won't be marrying him will he? May just be me but I have this 🕷️dy sense about him being  a bit too good to be true. Maybe Eddie was coming on too strong and Jo felt smothered by him?  Again, may just be me, but he did come across a bit aggressive when he was quizzing  Jo abut her true relationship with Tane, it's nothing to do with him, they had been apart for two years.

Seems Justin and Leah's visit to Theo's grave didn't go  quite as well as Justin hoped, it may have given Leah some peace but it brought it all up again and the fact Sonny had put a photo of Theo's guitar on it got her chasing after Sonny again. He did shut her down though

Theo only died at the beginning of  October Aus time  and they are only now at the start of November so only been a month so not long at all and to lose someone like that would be shattering. Leah has now  switched her anger to David.
