I haven’t been watching but Leah is a very one dimensional character l think

They've just turned her into an unintentionally unsympathetic character.

I was thinking exactly that CaptainHulk, Leah is  doing to Lacey what Cassandra did to her, blaming her for Theo's death.  She, Cassandra, even had a go at her for not telling her Theo had moved out, but why would/should she, Theo is/was an adult so it was down to him to tell his mum.

They have long days in the bay don't they?😁

Alf did his usual talk  with David, but I think he did overdo it by saying Leah treated   Theo as a son, but not wanting to be cruel, he wasn't. She has a son, VJ.

Leah, herself, decided to go back to work as it kept her mind off what day it was, so Alf didn't force her.  Anyways Maz's couple of days off did help her and she was back to her usual self.

Theo would and had before told Leah to put a sock in it, putting it politely, when she had a go at Lacey before, he even moved out because of it.

Leah having a rant at whoever she was speaking/shouting at at Coastal News didn't go as she hoped. They refused to put her through to the editor and hung up on her. Then, of course, she took it out on Sonny when he turned up.  I know he wants to help and he did when he and Leah were playing that video game, but he may be taking on more than he can handle. She did call him Theo to Justin.

I know Justin is the one getting it the neck but then the nearest one to you is the one you take it out on.  Justin's done the same to Leah, back in the day, when he got addicted to pain killers and him keeping losing his temper at her due to his anger management issues.

Coastal News with the help of Peter, are bigging it up calling Lacey a  hero for bringing Wendell down, the police would have  had a big hand in it, plus he has pleaded guilty. OK, and this  may be old fashioned but Lacey is a heroine.

Maybe Archie and Harper  were at Dana's which would explain why Archie wasn't at Tane's?🤔 Mac did get upset when she saw that wrap/nappy on the sofa.

OK I get David wants to protect Lacey, but why the rant at Justin, Justin can't  gag Leah like David suggested he did. He tried that with Lacey and look where that got him.

I must have misunderstood before but I thought Sonny didn't go to the city with Remi, but seems they did go talent scouting together and have found, potentially, a new star in the making - Eddie.  Good idea of Sonny's not to take him to  what is an unfinished recording studio as it wouldn't look good. Hope Sonny makes it on time seeing as he got side-tracked by Leah again.   Eden was suitably impressed and liked the tribute to Theo.  Eddie, from what he said was a fan of Lyrik.

I'm surprised Leah didn't get a "Calls to this number are barred" automessage after pestering the Coastal News like that.

I guess David's of the "Gag her or WE *will*" school of thought.

Don't Aussies have dishwashers?  Realised the other day that I've never seen one at all in any of the houses in the show.  Everyone washes their eating stuff in the sink and dries it.

Calling Sonny Theo - slip of the tongue by Leah since she'd just finished playing a video game with Sonny like Theo used to or something more.  Time will tell.

Is it unintentional? I suspect we're meant to have some sympathy for her, but I also don't think we're meant to agree with the way she treats Lacey and others.

At least Leah moved onto actually blaming the people responsible for the article instead of taking it out on her convenient punchbag, although a rambling rant down the phone was never going to get her anywhere, it just makes her seem like a crazy person. David continued to be pathetic and so did Alf frankly. David's coming across as a typical overbearing overprotective soap father and that's on a good day: Again, Leah has turned up at Lacey's place of work to have a go once, which is hardly the campaign of harassment he makes it out to be. As Sonny said, you can't force someone to change their opinion, and that's why so many people here are banging their heads against a brick wall. Did Alf really think basically telling David "Leah's a lovely person so don't be too hard on her for treating your daughter badly" was going to lead to anything other than an exasperated shake of the head? Justin, who came across quite well to start with, was daft to turn up at David's house like that as well: Again, what was he expecting?

Sonny actually did a good job of getting Leah out of her head and getting her to relax, which seemed to put her in a better mood for the rest of the day. I think Justin made a bit much of Leah referring to him as Theo, but at least he accepted her explanation. Unfortunately, it seems Sonny has now become Justin's easy target. I don't suppose I can blame him for answering Leah's call for help, but he should have been mindful of the fact he's letting Remi down and should have got out of there as soon as Leah was out of the room, not wait for Justin to turn up spoiling for a fight.

In the midst of all this, Eden's first visit to Back On Track was almost an after-thought, but it was quite nice to see her having a look round Remi's new haunt. We do get an explanation that Harper and Archie stayed the night at Dana's, and it does make sense that Harper would try to fix things with her, but it would have been nice to have that made clear before!

I've a feeling that we went down to 5 weeks behind some point last year when Australia seemed to be on 4 episodes a week for ages. If they do that again, we might get even closer! (They're starting back with a 6 episode week though, so it won't be any time soon.)

"She's got buckley's" (of getting an apology)

And delivered by Alf as well.

Props to the writer of today's episode.

And Leah's been arrested, thankfully off-screen to spare us another round of "Lacey is the reason Theo's dead" completely writing Wendell out of the history books.

Who at Channel Seven do I need to bribe to deny her bail? 😂

You WANT to feel sorry for her but she just so quickly goes from Zero to Raging Bitch and she's not the first female on this show to do that.

Didn't Sonny and Justin pass each other when Leah was storming off to Coastal News?  He was questioning  why Sonny was there again, Sonny manged to escape him as he was off to see Remi and Eddie.  If Justin was that bothered why didn't he follow Leah, as it was he only heard Leah had been arrested second hand later.  As said before I think Sonny may have taken on more than he can handle by telling Leah she can ring him anytime but now he's got Dana needing to lean on his shoulder with this new upset about  her and Harper's mum so who will he choose if Leah needs to see him  and Dana needs him there with her.

Oh one thing I picked up on, she called herself Leah Patterson.

I bet Coastal News gets a lot of flak from people who are angry with what they've printed which they 🙄 about but having someone  storming in and perhaps assaulting someone could be new, even for them.

Leah, as we know, can be a good person to have in your corner if there is a battle to be fought such as her standing by Kirby when she had that problem with that ad agency.  She got  a heavy fine for vandalising a police van.  There have bene other instances but that's the most recent one.  Perhaps that is what Alf meant when he was talking to David about Leah?

Anyways we've met Eddie and he  seemed an OK guy, not  a bad voice either.  Eden was doing a great job of cracking on she was a signing of Remi's new label and Remi was bluffing his way through the whole interview and Sonny had to be filled in quickly when he finally turned up.  But Remi cracked and admitted the truth to Eddie, no recording studio set up, no equipment  and he, Eddie, would be their first signing.  No surprise he walked out but Sonny persuaded him to give them a chance and it worked.  Honestly he could sell snow to  Inuits.

Then the other big story with Harper and Dana and the fact Harper, after a lot of thinking, I hope, did contact Kerrie even if it was only by text.  The first message Harper showed Dana wasn't that welcoming but no surprise seeing as they last saw/spoke to each other many years ago and wouldn't she be wondering how Harper managed to get her number?  The same old battle between the pair, Harper expecting Dana just to roll over and accept she wants their mum back in their lives.  Looks like Harper is off to see her but at least she's leaving Archie behind and Tane is going to be doing unexpected babysitting duty.

She's been calling herself Leah Patterson for the last  decade. She dropped the 'Baker' in the mid-2010s.

Re: Coastal News; Bet Alf's put a few rockets up Bums at that paper over the years! "If one word of a lie goes in that tatty Smut rag of yours You'll be in more strife than *Flash Gordon*, you comprehend?!" Hanging up complete with "Gohhh..  Flamin' Journos!"😂

Alf's episode count this week:Four.

I know she's used up her three episodes, but I feel a bit cheated that Leah tearing strips off someone who a)had actually done something and b)wouldn't take it lying down and getting dragged away in handcuffs was thrown away in a "Tell, don't show" moment. At least Alf recognises that David's been acting like an idiot.

Sonny probably could have got away from the Morgans' sooner than he did and I winced at him stopping by the Diner for supplies when he was already late, but it didn't seem to slow him down that much.In the end, a combination of Remi's honesty and Sonny's charm gets them over the line.Eddie did seem like a decent bloke and he can sing so hopefully it'll be fruitful.

Harper probably should have just kept her mouth shut, especially since Dana had already told her she didn't want to know.No-one else seemed to help matters either:Bree, clearly influenced by her own experience, went straight for the worst case scenario and Marilyn heading straight for where Bree and Dana are having a private conversation with an insincere "I couldn't help overhearing" makes me wonder why people tolerate her as much as they do. Kerrie's responses were abrupt but I don't know what else Dana was expecting, so it just came across as her looking for problems.
