Great to finally see the studio tonight, although it's still very much a work in progress.  Not sure if those boxes are the kit from Germany, mind you.  It's got a well-stocked bar, that's for sure!

Leah starting to get a bit attached to Sonny, almost like he's the only one he can open up to... maybe he's the last link back to Theo?  Thought making David guilty by association, given he's the guy who investigated his killer, was a bit harsh.  She seems to be shuttling between sad and bitter.  I fear she's going to go full metal jacket on Lacey before the week's out.

David really doesn't want Tane involved with Jo, even though she's still interested despite the full disclosure.

Sorry about that RR, I'll have to time my putting up any comments on here better. 

Yes, Leah did offer to come back but Maz being Maz insisted she was 'fine'  and we all know what a big flat lie that comment is. 

Leah did mention about getting in contact with Cassandra about taking anything of Theo's  she wanted. I think Leah just took them back to her and Justin's place so Sonny, Dana and Bree would have more room.  Would Cass take a call from Justin?  Or maybe another member of the family could speak to Cass on Leah's behalf.  

Justin got it in the  neck twice and he was innocent both times. 

A wonderful and heart felt gesture by Justin and Leah, saying no more. 

A bit picky I know but was it the same journo, as in name who wrote that article about Tane and baby Maia/Poppy or has he got a  got a different name.  Anyways David has found out by other means.

I thought it was just the locals who knew David and Lacey are father and daughter? She did take her mum's maiden name. That would explain the tack journo is pursuing - conflict of interest? 

Definitely a well stocked bar but no food- no surprise there. 

Sonny does appear to be the  person people open up to, Theo told him about what his dad put him through. 

What Tane did is not something you could drop casually into a conversation, especially when you are just getting to know them and hoping to be serious with.  Jo will not be happy with dad interfering.

Yep, same name, same character.

It almost felt like Sonny was the one getting attached to Leah, practically begging her to stay and chat.It does feel like he's not got much headspace to deal with anything but Theo at the moment, even when he went to the studio, he invited Justin around to chat about a tribute. And we finally find out where Remi's living! Yes, fair play, Leah did just put Theo's stuff in storage until they can talk to Cassandra about it. I wasn't too keen on her seeming to tell Justin who he can be friends with, although to be fair, she just said she doesn't want David in the house, and again she was friendly towards Justin once she'd got that out of her system. Was Remi being sarcastic when he said Theo talked Justin into being manager? Because I seem to remember Justin lobbying hard for it off his own back!

(I forgot to mention yesterday that I'm glad Lacey stayed at work despite her tears, it's probably good for her to have something to do.)

Of course, David then reminds us how debatable it is that anyone would want to be friends with him in the first place. Objectively, I can understand his concerns, but now Tane's been honest with Jo, David needs to recognise she's an adult and back off, not keeping trying to warn Tane off her any way he can.

I do feel like at this point 5STAR should’ve just returned on Monday with one showing at either 6 or 6.30pm airing in the right block.

I got into the First Look at a time I didn’t have a DVR and it tended to be the one I could watch live.

I did prefer to post in this chat as seemed to be talking to myself (or just to Dan F) most of the time in the other one, but would either put in spoilers or copy my thoughts over the next day.

I guess the other option is to have a thread per episode.
