Well, I called it months ago: Lacey was quite right that cars don't just drive into trees, so if there was nothing wrong with the car and Jo wasn't at fault, then another car forcing them off the road was about the only explanation left.David is soon back trying to control things. I guess his apologising to Cash at least shows some progress, although the promo indicates it won't last long.

John is definitely suffering the consequences of reappointing himself as celebrant.A reversal of his conversation with Eden, as this time it's Cash pointing out to him all the things that haven't been done.It would certainly help to have Cash and Eden there at the same time.

Roo's off to see Cohen then, it's like there's a revolving door in the place.I loved Justin trying to get Leah to come see a band called Death Rattle for "research".There's a definite feeling of things ramping up prior to the intended UK finale, with four or five storylines per episode.

Although David was very anti Jo having the hypnotherapy session it did work and Amelia was very good at her job telling Jo no she needs to take in what she has learnt and rest before having another one. As an aside was there a specific reason it was held at the cop shop?  It certainly wasn't the sun dazzling Jo's eyes as it was too high but that car swerving all over the place and coming into their lane did make her crash, and she part remembered it was a  grey Merc with the partial number plate of CM.  Must be of some relief to Jo that the accident wasn't her fault. Logical thought to track it down, though the owner could have sold it in the intervening two years.

Cash did make his entrance at the wrong time as David was in the wrong mind space, but as said he did apologise to Cash later and told him what had occurred. But then Cash, it appears, makes the blunder of telling Lacey thinking David had told her, she has a rant at David who in turn has a rant at Cash.

Wasn't Cash's day was it, he comes back early hoping to surprise Eden and she wasn't there, did he just walk into Remi's btw?  She, Abby and mum have gone to the city looking for Wedding dresses.  Very good point by a harassed John, it would be good for both of the invested parties to be there at the same time, though Cash could be excused as h was visiting an ill Gary.  Did he really say "how long can it take to get a Wedding dress?"🙄 Oh dear he has no idea - Eden would want a kind of traditional dress but one that would be her.  Bit late I suppose for Justin to step in as Wedding Planner seeing what a good job he did with his and Leah's.

Cash did find it amusing Tane took Archie to the gym, just see Archie with a pair of mini dumbbells.

Mali did pick up on John's stress and he rang Abby to tell her to tell Eden to get back home.

It was as I thought Cohen did run it by Adrian, I'm guessing Roo was circumspect when she rung Adrian and he offered up the info she was needed to know but didn't want to ask, then she's visiting Martha.   Both Stewarts are away then, has Alf gone there after seeing Ryder but it hasn't been mentioned?

Maybe nothing but was there a hidden agenda in the huge hints dropped when Justin said he'd check Roo's car before her big trip to Adrian's and then Martha's? 🤔

That was amusing Justin trying to coax Leah in going to see the possible sign up aka Death Rattle  for Back on Track and Leah trying unsuccessfully  to get Maz to get her out of it by saying Maz wasn't able to cover for her as she had this 'thing' which she didn't fall for. Good for you Maz!👏  Anyways it appeared their gig had been  a sell out - oh dear what a disappointment.

Well, Cash and Eden were obviously...very pleased to see each other, and they even managed to squeeze in a meeting with John that left him with a bit more of a handle on things, Eden not knowing what she's going to say or wear notwithstanding. After us seeing the worst of Abigail last week, she was at her best here, willing to make a big sacrifice to make Eden's wedding a success.

David still seems to be unable to take responsibility for anything. If Lacey's "fragile", then that's because he's spent two years burying his head in the sand and insisting nothing's wrong instead of addressing her issues. After that latest tantrum, Cash would be perfectly within his rights to wash his hands of the whole thing and let David flounder on his own, rather than chasing around after Lacey trying to make things right.I'm not sure what the big deal is about Lacey seeing the file:Everyone else has.

Yes that was quite  a welcome home for them both, I guess Eden has a key to Cash's place?  Their later catch up did get interrupted.  At most things have been sorted, how long is it to THE day - oh yeah two weeks in case any of us forgot. I did laugh at Abby saying that every dress Eden tried on their mum cried.  It seems there is THE dress Eden would love to have but $4000 - WOW that's some eye watering price.  Abby had a💡 moment saying she could sell her car, the one Levi bought her as a Birthday present,  to pay for Eden's dress, could she sell it that quick and is the shop holding it?   Very heart warming and sisterly thing to do. It did come after Mali said he'd do anything  for his sisters.

I'd forgotten Cash was standing in for Gary at his station while he was off recovering, explained David's comment about Cash signing him back on duty.  It appeared Theo and Lacey had been away as she said it hadn't really solved anything.  David did have the chance to tell Lacey what Jo had done and what been found out when they run into each other at the Diner, he could just have said "We need to have a talk in private".  but no, he bottled it's no surprise Cash thought she knew.   I'm giving David the benefit of the doubt as to why he didn't, he was also getting his head around about there being another car involved which caused the death of his wife.  He's certainly landed that cop with a big task PNC'ing a car from two years ago, I'm supposing it would be near where they lived then.

Where did Lacey get this bonkers idea of going to Yabbie Creek cop shop to find the file and it's latest update.  OK she's the Sarge's daughter but a bit lax of them just letting her walk in and rummage around his office.  As it turned out it helped Jo and Lacey reconcile as we saw them collaborating   together which is a bit OK a BIG bit of  a shock.  I'm not sure how they can find out more than the cops can, will Jo have another session to help her remember more or will the memory  come back naturally?

I'm afraid I found the resolution to Eden's dress saga slightly unsatisfying. Levi buying the dress was obviously an option, and I didn't particularly want Abigail to have to give up her car (I'm not sure how much joy she think she'd get by just parking her car in the middle of nowhere with a For Sale sign on it!), but Levi and Mackenzie going behind her back didn't feel right. It was like she was cut out of everything in a slightly patronising "That's very sweet but let the grown-ups deal with it" kind of way. But oh well, everyone got left happy, so all's good.

Meanwhile, Levi and Mackenzie get further than they did last time, with four viable embryos. I'm assuming the other three have been stored somewhere in case it doesn't take first time.

Cash was a bit self-righteous frog-marching Lacey home like that: Really, what was the harm in letting her have a look? Lacey and Jo do finally seem to be on the same side, although not before Lacey has twice unloaded a bunch of crazy on her trying to get answers. Cash brings them down to earth with a bump and I've no idea what Lacey is planning...

I was expecting that the dress had been  bought by Jimmy, but I thought it would be more acceptable that Levi had done the deed, how much money does he have btw, he bought that car for Abby and now he's bought  Eden's dream dress after talking to their mum.   Talking of Abby I thought she was very grown up by not telling Levi her idea when it was obvious he had other things on his mind - the fact the clinic had harvested four embryos so kept her mouth shut and just said "I've forgotten, it'll come back to me".  He did seem very astounded she was cleaning her car, when Mali had only just cleaned it the week before then she asked his permission to sell it to pay for Eden's dress, so  she did  take on board what Mali said.

As an aside it was funny when Eden hustled Cash out if the bedroom when she saw the dress hanging up on the back  of the door. 🤣

I would definitely think the clinic would freeze the other three embryos in case this one doesn't 'take' or she loses it.   It is one step further than last time but still a long way to go. Once again we've been seeing the front and back of the Farmhouse.

After the slagging off  Cash got from David, he would come down hard on Lacey, I can imagine how he'd - David - would react if he found Lacey had been in his office and Cash had let her look at what he had found.  She did take the telling off well and accepted Cash couldn't tell her what David had found.  Jo looked  pretty shocked when Lacey said she didn't blame her anymore.  This must be the first time we've  seen them actually talking to each other rather than shouting at each other, even Maz and Leah looked surprised when they were talking in the Diner.  She did get a bit obsessed about what Jo had seen, Jo  may not have seen the other  driver's face if they were speeding. May be just me but wouldn't it make sense for Jo to have another session with Amelia?

Anyways as we saw from the promo this guy, Guy Wendell, walked into the station and was speaking to David about his car that he  just happened to sell six days after the accident. It was a plausible explanation he gave.

Well, we have a suspect, and given how slimy he is, it'll be a big surprise if he's not guilty. David alternates between being polite to Cash and treating him as a convenient punchbag; at this point, I do wonder why Cash bothers being friendly towards him (although he got a bit of his own back by playing innocent about Lacey being in the office). I'm not sure where I stand on Lacey trying to involve herself in the case at this point: David isn't doing a particularly good job at breaking Wendell's walls down (what was he expecting, an immediate confession?), but he's still got further than a couple of amateur detectives with no resources could.

John oversteps the mark a bit ordering a cake from Leah without checking, and he could have spared her that sleepless night if he'd rung her as soon as Eden put him straight. Eden still struggling with the vows then!

Wendall was  a right smarmy git.  Saying that though his replies to David's questioning were plausible, who would remember what we were doing on a specific date two years ago unless it was a memorable date for you, like attending a special event etc.  Cops in all soaps and dramas  ask people that question.  But as David said to smarmy he knew what he was doing getting the news his wife had died.  Selling his car is very possible, the other stuff he's going to check with his staff or so he said, likely to get them to say he was the other side of town or  at a  meeting.  Then the sealer that he is dodgy came when his lawyer rang David telling him not to contact smarmy again but go through  him.   Smarmy did look shocked to see Jo when they passed each other, he obviously had seen her before. I'm guessing there was no damage to smarmy's car as Jo had to swerve to avoid him.

David did confide that much to Cash that the selling of the car was suspect but could also be a coincidence.  I totally agree with David's comment about assuming - it makes an as out of you and me.

David may have been shut down but who knows what Lacey and Jo could dig up, especially as we saw Jo, was it, sneak into David's office and  see smarmy's photo and details on  his wall.  He's easy to find as he's a Councillor  from where they lived.  I did have the thought that  David shouldn't be that relieved his daughters are getting on better as they are acting together in a pincer movement to find out  all they can behind his back.

That was three times Eden got nabbed trying to find Cash's vows speech.😆  The thought, I know another one, occurred to me why doesn't she think of it  as writing a song, like when she wrote that song for Cash before?  At the moment she's overthinking it so course it won't happen.

John didn't ask about the cake, did he miss it off his list.  At least she can stop panicking though she must have been  a bit hurt she wasn't providing the cake.

I guess at this point we can infer who really shut down Lacey's private detective all those weeks ago. Because Wendell and his cronies are doing a pretty good job of shutting down even an official investigation. Lacey hiding what she's found from Jo isn't a good thing, because she's not going to let this drop.Part of me thinks Jo is right that they should just step aside and let the official investigation deal with it... except that David's getting absolutely nowhere, having hit a series of walls after his tactic of "Confront the bad guy and hope he confesses" didn't work. David has learnt absolutely nothing, keeping what's going on from Jo and Lacey but confiding in Justin.

The deluge of plots we were getting last week seem to have dried up, as aside from a few scenes with Leah, Justin and Theo, the only thing left was Levi ad Mackenzie's continued baby fretting.Still, some more good news for them so hopefully they're set now.

You could be right there about who shut down Lacey's PD.  You know the old saying its not what you know, it's who you know and Smarmy obviously holds a lot of sway in certain circles.  David was only going by what he knew about the accident and where Smarmy might have been  at that time, no actual proof/evidence.  I guess he had to confide in someone and Justin can keep his mouth shut when needed.   That wasn't the wisest of choices Lacey has made by not telling Jo about who it could be who ran her off the road.   He came across as a real "I'm the guy" in his media pages, but what is he like behind the public facade.   David may be  stuck but nothing to stop Lacey investigating, what was seen was there for all to see.   Lace will have to tread carefully, not easy knowing  her history of just storming in.

Only other  big news was Mac and Levi finding out the implanted embryo had taken so she's pregnant, can you find out that quick?🤔  There is still a long way to go though and not  wanting to put a dampener on it anything could happen.
