I did not have a reference to Maddy on my bingo card (even if the subtitles still can't spell it right). I briefly wondered if we'd actually see a clip of her but no such luck. Did Will buy her that bus while they were in London? (A reference to how he's doing might have been nice but the storyline isn't really about that, it's about remembering Irene's time on the show rather than catching up on old faces.) John is starting to annoy me a bit, he seems to be determined to overreact to everything. It was fine when Irene was keeping things to herself when she really shouldn't, but now she's being open and honest and he still keeps telling her she's wrong.

Well Palmer is in Harold Bishop "dear old fusspot" territory. It's only Natural that he should want to be there for her.

Will likely did buy the bus and update would be good (is he out now or what?) However, I'd rather hear about the oft-forgotrten Joey, Annie and Geoff. Also what Selina's up to but eh...

As for Leah. With the brothers we know relations are sour with Dimitri but reasonably cool with Alexi (since reconciled, visited him after an injury) and Chris (rarely if ever mentioned of the three). They likely went with recency, nothing odd about that.

Jo, to give her credit, did try once  more to reconcile with Lacey who was having none of it.  Though if it was your mum who had died in an unexplained  car accident car accident, I'd be suspicious.   If someone had tampered with the car wouldn't they, the cops, spotted it?  A fresh pair of eyes could have  helped as Tane said.  But how did whoever it was know who the PI was and get them to back off, all Jo saw was Lacey speaking to a  woman and quickly put two and two together and made four.  I wasn't even aware the bay had a  taxi service which now apparently is approaching local garages to put  tenders in to service their cabs.   If  Theo isn't able to help how about  Sunny, is he a qualified mechanic or does he just like mucking about with motors.   Theo does seem to get focused on things, he was very keen to get into cars and wanting to be a mechanic, then his head got turned when Lyrik needed another guitar player/singer so he dropped his course. Then when Remi was put  out of action he returned back to the garage, now it's training surfers.  Is it just  to help Lacey out or will he stick at it when Mali comes back? 

With Leah saying she'd visited Tori, VJ and Luc, they were all abroad,  Brody, Raffy and Ava are in Aus and I think Leah's brothers, the ones she is in contact with, are too, it was brought with Iren saying she'd not travelled a lot.   Going off on  a  tandem  it  reminded me  shock, horror Justin mentioned Ava to David and actually showed him a photo of her.

At last a mention of Donald when Irene rediscovered that book  Letters to Bryon.  I guess Maz has one so might have been a bit pointless Irene giving her that copy.  Saying that it has been very focused on Leah and Irene's friendship but what about Irene and Maz's friendship she's known her just as long if not longer  yet Maz has been pushed to one side.  In fact at one time Marilyn owned the Beach House and stayed there as a lodger back in the 90's so Irene would have been her landlady. 

Anyways back to Irene decluttering, I'm supposing  in her mind and as she said she doesn't want people having the task of doing it when she is unable to look after herself and maybe  have to go into a home.  Those things which she has held dear wouldn't mean the same to others. John is being  a tad overprotective but perhaps he's  worried  she'll get rid of things and doesn't remember she has.   That teapot she gave Leah was  a special  memory for her.  

Mac and Levi's story can be seen two ways,  bit of a bore for some but interesting for others who have been/are going through what they're going through. Everyone is different as to how they handle it and how it affects them.   He does  need to give her some space and let her do her job and be normal as long as she can.  But she has to admit when to when she isn't feeling well and not use that old line/lie "I'm fine".   I guess Eden told Cash so that is why he knows.  Did leave the crew at Salt running their own ship again.

No real movement on the lost PI story then. Both Lacey and Jo ultimately seem to accept the claim that she didn't want to take on a case that involved the local sergeant and his family, even if they came at it from different angles, and they mostly put it aside after the opening minutes. It was nice to see Lacey in caring, supportive girlfriend mode with Theo, which we need to offset her hardline attitude towards her family. By the end, she's roped Abigail into something that's probably best for Theo but not really for the board shop. It remains to be seen how they'll cope with this new hole. Meanwhile, Jo demonstrates it's not as simple as her being the "good sister" by hiding Tane's phone call from Harper, although fair play to her for opening up quickly.

Irene gave John the necessary short shrift and he'll probably be even less happy about her latest decision. I did have to smile at the fact she talked about April and Dex in the past tense: I guess someone involved in the show couldn't believe that marriage would actually last either. Nice to get a bit of an update on the last thirty or so years of Fin's life too.Leah just pops up at the end to give disapproving looks.Do we know who's in Peru? It sounds familiar but I might be getting mixed up with Coronation Street...

I’m kinda interested to know how Lacey and Jos mom died Thd whole ring saga I couldn’t help not to think of Golem lord of the rings though 

Even though Cohen and Alf scenes are nice I find Cohen abit too nice his abit of a bore if I’m honest

Well Emily did settle there after an invitation from Spider (Why they bought that pillock back, I don't know)

Maybe one the lesser remembered foster kids? Maybe a Boarder of the Rob Luke variety? Or family? Wendy? Nelson? Damo on a Jesus  jolly? The possibilities  are endless. 

As for Fin, she's talked about way more than her bros (become a grandmother in recent years, lives closest) and will likely be the main beneficiary when the time comes.

That was a  bit of  a twist with Jo saying she'd like to know what happened in the accident herself, stopped Lacey in her tracks.   How could Jo have reported this PI to her dad, she didn't have  a clue who she was and where she worked from.  Mayhap when she started digging into it as in a  contact in the police she was warned off.   It was good and unselfish of Lacey thinking about Theo's interests after he uncharacteristically  snapped at her as it all being about her. He is torn between carrying on the surfing lessons, not just to help her but also Mali, but not wanting to lose his job at the garage.  It would have to be Abigail as effectively she is the boss while Mali's away to 'fire' him. 

This time it was Jo being selfish by putting Tane's phone on silent as she didn't want Tane dashing off  the same as he had to their last two 'date's.  But to give her  a bit of slack  she did own up pretty quick.  

Proves how good  a friend is that you can have a go at them like Irene did and they are still there for you.   I guess we'll be reminded ourselves of the people who have passed through Irene's doors and how they fared as she was saying to Dana when Dana asked about all the postcards that it was lovely that they still cared enough about her to send them.  Fin is the closet to Irene, Irene was a surrogate for her.  

Sunny, with the best of intentions, has really stirred things up, he is a newbie  so 'seeing' Irene in  a different way.   Irene has been to the States for Fin's surrogacy story. The reaction to Irene deciding to go travelling didn't go as well as she thought it would.  Irene may have Alzheimer's but she's not stupid, she'll take medical advice and if OK'd take someone with her.   She wants to do it NOW before her condition worsens and no-one can say how quickly  that may happen. Selling  the house though -  what will happen to Dana, Harper and Archie - couldn't she rent it to them?

Far as I can see Irene isn't taking any advice from anyone.  The ideal for this would be John accompanying her on her travels, but I don't think that's going to happen.  How she expects to travel the world, even with some safeguards in place I just don't know.  When she can blank out after opening a refigerator door how on earth does she expect to be able to make flight connections, etc?   Sure she'll have family/friends to meet her when she get to wherever, but she's got to get there first.  Atm seems like a very bad and stupid storyline for Irene's exit from the show.

It is stupid But the show is very silly Irene is going to be wandering around lost If she gets into trouble she’s got nobody there to help her She should just go on a holiday with John to travel to where she wants too then come back 

The reason we never see her again is she has no idea how to get home lol
