I'm not enamoured with Remi nor Cash and Eden at the minute. Could do with a break from those three. Eden wedding this wedding that, Remi acting the prick and drawing Cash, who's  supposedly  the law into a game of "Mine's Bigger".

I suggest group Therapy for our trio but give it 20 minutes the Therapist would jump out the window!😂

Poor Cohen...

I spotted Irene had 'gone' and Bree and Remi are are on their own on the opening credits.

Eden didn't seem the type to be fretting about Wedding plans but it seems she is  like most women and wanting to sort things out, flowers. Maid of Honour, who to invite etc.

I was right, kind of, Remi is paying the rent, as he can afford to now so Eden can't kick him out/ask him to leave.   It did get  a bit heavy between Cash and Remi with Cash being all defensive of her, strong words were said between Remi and Eden. Once she calmed down  Eden apologised to Remi and he apologised to her.  They have known each other  a long time  so can  forgive angry words and accusations.  If/when Cash and Eden find a new place, it will mean Remi will be on his own.

That was a pretty calm approach by Roo when she rocked up at Adrian's, how far was it from SB?  It appeared he is quite a skilled guy, a carpenter/woodworker, you have to have a talent to make things like that table.  Seems we, some of us anyway, were right his family don't know he has a 11/12 year old son.  I can see why he thinks he wouldn't be  a good dad as he doesn't know Cohen, but people who have had their kids grow up with them make mistakes, there is no rule book.  Roo missed out on Martha's growing years as she had her adopted and was only reunited with her when she was an adult.  Roo is learning as she goes with Cohen, it would be the same with any foster kid, everyone is different. Cohen has been pretty quiet about his upbringing with Samantha so there may be things Roo doesn't know about his history.

Alf was taking a leaf out of Roo's book by not telling Cohen where Roo was but got caught out when Cohen overhead him talking to David and no Alf Cohen didn't sneak up on you, you were in a public place.  Maybe this time it's Cohen who  needs to step back a bit, he is getting ahead of himself by expecting Adrian to introduce him to all of his new extended family.   Adrian should IMO explain to Cohen why he can't do that yet as they need to know he even exists, though no fault of his, but before that maybe Adrian could break the news to his mum or another trusted member of the family to break the news to let them take it in.  Kind of a Lost Lost Family situation there.

Maybe just me but I can't get into the Australian Discussions forum pages, I put the right password in but zilch.

I did smile at Roo getting a taste of her own medicine when Adrian threatened to call the police after she turned up at his place uninvited. But by episode's end he's back in Summer Bay and hopefully he'll stick at it this time. He's lucky Cohen was so forgiving but I guess they've bonded.

Remi seemed a lot more hostile towards Eden at the start of this episode than the end of the previous one. It feels like every episode with Remi in has a false dawn but maybe this one will stick.I was expecting him to brush aside Theo's advice but apparently it went in.I did smile at him joining Cash on his run: It really isn't his thing but perhaps not being his thing is good right now.

Unfortunately, having had some success there, Theo continues to peck away at Lacey. This might make sense if Lacey had only fallen out with her family a couple of weeks back but she didn't see them for months and she'd have carried on not seeing them if not for the whopping great coincidence that David got a transfer to near the town she'd fled to, so Theo's constant bleating that she needs to speak to him just feels presumptuous.

Yeah, that's been affecting more than one forum recently. You need to accept cookies for it to work.

It didn't mention anything about cookies but thanks anyway Red.

I did smile at that and Roo having to slink off back home without Adrian.  But at least she was honest this time and told Cohen what happened. Alf could see why he was bothered about bonding with a son he hadn't seen for 11(?) years.  It was good him turning up like that and Roo seemed happy to see him as it meant Cohen was happy.   Was funny seeing Alf and Maz playing touch football.  Adrian does need to sit Cohen down and talk to him, maybe with Harper in attendance, as to why he was reluctant to accept him and introduce him to the rest of the family.

It's been hinted at on the forum that David and Roo could become a couple, but it will take a while, he only lost his wife two years ago,  so would have to be a slow burn but they do like and respect each other and he did give her Adrian's address going against everything he usually stands for.

Remi has been two steps forwards and half  a dozen back with  Eden.  Eden didn't want to give up on him as she's known him for so long and never seen him like this.  Theo,  even though he's young, gave good advice  which surprisingly he took.  Remi apologised to Eden again and Cash who accepted it.  I found it 🤣 when we saw Remi running, well I use that term very loosely, behind Cash, then he threw up in the bushes.  Running so isn't Remi's style but hopefully🤞 he's turned a corner.

With Lacey Theo's a lot closer to the problem than he was with Remi's and Eden's so seeing it from a different prospective.  Lacey is his girlfriend and wants her and David make up  properly not just having fairly civil chats which is one step on from her not wanting to talk to him at all.  Him nagging her though doesn't seem to be working, she just digs her heels in more.

That was a mysterious text from John inviting Maz and Alf to dinner at Salt.

It also looked like Lacey was holding a rave at the Diner flat and they got busted.

Well, I'm glad Alf and Marilyn put their misgivings aside and changed their mind about indulging John. It makes sense for the remaining stalwarts (bar Roo!) to hang out like that, although it was no immediate fix for John. Irene's been his go-to person pretty much since he and Marilyn split up, and he's now feeling the effect of having friends but not close friends. Has Jo really not seen him while hanging around the surf club and beach? (Guess she was looking at Tane.)

I did like when Lacey casually pointed out that Bree's feeling like the odd one out sharing with couples and Dana tried to argue with her only to quickly realise she's right. Dana's phone conversation with Sonny had both Bree and Jo cringing to the point that Bree hung up for her! Sonny's party idea could have backfired if Bree wasn't in the mood (she can be rather staid at times), but fortunately it turned out to be just what Bree needed to feel like they're a group of friends rather than the couples and her. Cash ringing David about the noise complaint when he was off duty seems unlikely, but maybe he just knows that David's a control freak and would want to be alerted to anything involving Lacey. It surely has to be someone in the Diner that made the complaint? I'm not sure if there's anyone else near there! When we saw David was outside the surf club and Lacey was inside, I was convinced he and Jo were going to walk in on her but thankfully averted.

David should have arrested Sonny for that sleeveless jumper, a huge crime against fashion.

If it wasn't for the fact he's getting it on with Dana, I'd have questions.

Justin got it spot on about how John was really feeling, he was putting on  a very good front but as we saw at the end, he looked so sad.  They were very stunned about him paying for  the meal and drinks as he isn't usually one for splashing his money about.  Even Alf was civil to him.  He was following  Irene's advice  in her letter that her friends should look out for each other. I hope they keep up the idea they all should meet up, have a meal more often, never mind who pays. In six weeks time then John will be  visiting Irene in Paris for a couple of weeks 🤞 she's still in  a good place health wise.  Great to see she hasn't been forgotten by the writers  we saw her apparently in Cyprus

I guess as both Marilyn and Leah were at Salt it wold have either been a staff member or a diner ringing the cops to complain about the noise, would Cash know David was at the Diner or it was just a fluke, he himself was bothered by it. Went off Jo when she said couldn't he, David, ask one of his minions to sort it out.  Talking of whom, Jo, it was odd she hadn't seen/met John before now, but I suppose it can happen like that even in a small   town.

I did chuckle when Dana was talking to Sonny, acting like two kids  on their first romance and the old  you hang up, no you hang up was both cringy and funny😆.  Bree acting like  a mum saying bye to Sonny and hanging up.  it did take a while for Dana to click about why Bree was working all the time, she must feel like  a fifth wheel with two loved up couples in such  a small flat.   Sonny, once again, showed what a thoughtful guy he can be, gathering up all those snacks, getting Theo to buy the booze and getting the place looking like a  disco. Bree thumping the snack machine as it wouldn't let her get what she wanted has been seen many times and it's usually docs doing it.

Oh btw I had a real flash back to the middle of last century when I saw those bags of Smiths crisps, I had to rewind and watch it again to make sure I hadn't imagined them.  We in the UK had those back in the day before Walkers  took Smiths over.  I remember the only flavour you could get was plain with  a little blue bag of salt. Hey ho - happy days.

Talking of imagining things Red, you weren't, there are two shots of Roo in the opening credits.

Anyways I'm glad Bree let herself get  into the party mood and they were all enjoying themselves and she got why they were doing it.  She and Remi didn't really live together did they, they stayed over at each others places now and then but kept their own place.  Natch Lacey took it personal that it was David who came up and told them to tone it down.

Rather sad David remembering Lacey as she was when she was a little girl and how she used to run out to meet him when he came home and babble on about her day.
