Oh right didn’t realise that thanks I was going to say it was nice to have a week off from Tane but no he was there every break inviting me on holiday to Western Australia But no sorry Tane I can’t come I’m going to Tenerife in November Anyway I thought he was in Japan 1 Quote
H&Alover Posted August 1 Report Posted August 1 Jimmy did get one thing right - Eden has inherited his stubbiness! The fact he was willing to wait until she finally emerged from her room. I was waiting for him to explain why he felt he had to leave when he did, any time would have been difficult, but maybe he thought he couldn't lie to Debs anymore. There was a thawing and I was glad she accepted the necklace and even let him put it on her, wonder it she'll wear it on her Wedding Day. That was a tad premature - sorry - of Abby letting Jimmy think Mac is pregnant. What was with Dana, such a switch from her usual laid back attitude. Sonny said again she hadn't been that bothered about upgrading her position until this job came up but now she's got her knickers really in a twist. Jo really has got under her skin, but despite Jo's meltdown, which I must admit I was suspicious about, Levi being the professional he is must have checked with her referees to confirm she was qualified enough to fill the position at ND's. It is a very responsible job, not a humble admin job - no offence to any admin workers btw. Bree was utterly astonished by her comments. She did, finally, bite the the bullet and apologise to Jo, only for her to be dismissive, maybe partly from the way Dana had been, she did tell her about her meltdown in confidence only to have it broadcast to all and sundry, but maybe that may be something she has inherited from her dad. Hopefully they won't have much to do with each at work. Sonny very reluctantly got roped into setting up the equipment for the backing band and was very shocked that he'd have to do it again tomorrow. It was full steam ahead with Kirby's Launch Party but I felt Justin was going very OTT over it, I didn't think Kirby wanted that much fuss. I did laugh when he was at the Diner and he was rabbiting on and not listening to Leah until she said her dress was going to cost 2000! That got his attention. Not surprising Eden would want to be there, they are old friends and she was on it. Then the last minute panic over Remi seemingly vanishing into thin air. I'm guessing Bree and him haven't been together a lot lately with all the hours he's been putting working on both Kirby's and Avalon's albums, doing all the clever stuff after. But now it's down to the wire and he's nowhere to be seen. No answer to anyone's calls, the crew have searched everywhere they could think of, the house, other places he would be at. Then the shock discovery Sonny made! Quote
Red Ranger 1 Posted August 1 Report Posted August 1 It's a shame that neither we nor Justin could fully appreciate Kirby's launch, given the constant worry about whether or not Remi could turn up. The show's sometimes confusing tendency to start the audio of the next scene early meant that at one point I thought Justin was at the Lyrik house, and then it cut to him still at Salt. Anyway, once that glitch was sorted it all went well, and I think we even managed to get all four members of Lyrik in one room. I did feel a bit sorry for Remi: He was the one that contributed the most, yet Kirby said the least about him in her speech, not even really mentioning that he'd produced and financed the whole album. I've seen it commented in other sections that Theo hasn't had any scenes with Kirby since he got together with Lacey so I was glad to see that rectified here. I'm guessing Lacey has moved into the Diner flat as per her comments earlier in the week then, given she called it "home" here. I'm glad her apparent sulk about Theo and Kirby's history was put on. Sonny gets both Remi and the USB to the launch just in time but has seen more than he'd have liked.Avalon's hard to get a read on at this point.I've kind of liked her since she and Kirby have become friends, but her supplying Remi with drugs is a bit worrying, especially since he now seems to be depending on them to feel "normal".I'm surprised that Sonny would seemingly be willing to come out and tell Bree like that, but I guess he think it's serious. pembie Posted August 2 Report Posted August 2 Fridays episode I found bizarre How famous is Kirby exactly I thought she was a struggling upcoming artist but everyone was going wild Edens dad I thought his chat when he went to find was beyond crap he basically told her he was giving up so I don’t really know why she forgive him I don’t know if you know about Western Australia if anything I feel like I have been nagged to death by Tane this week my goodness I know how Felcity and Harper feel now Quote

Now to me the back door is the one everyone uses, the side door leads to the small area where the BBQ is. Edited August 3 by H&Alover Quote
H&Alover Posted August 3 Report Posted August 3 Now give Mac and her very hard working staff their due they really pulled out all the stops to put on such a great Launch Party for Kirby. Was it just me or did Kirby seem to trip over her shoes when getting out of the limo. All the ladies looked lovely, Sonny's nearly popped out of his head when he saw Dana. Avalon, it seemed used her social media pages to bump up the guest list. I'm still in two minds about her though, especially as she's giving Remi drugs, free so far, but she will likely ask him for some kind of recompense, she has to pay for the ones she uses. That $2000 dress Leah was wearing looked stunning, I was wondering where she was. She was great with Justin, calming him down and telling him he was doing a great job. The only one who did look out of place was Bree, long sleeved top in that heat, made me feel quite warm. I've noticed the audio starting early which is meant fir the next scene can make your head spin a tad. I really liked how Kirby thanked Eden, Justin, Theo and Remi, though that did seem a of a tag on. Mayhap she didn't want to embarrass him too much, he isn't the limelight type of guy. Theo, it seemed had told Lacy he and Kirby had been an item but not that they had written songs together, but she's a fine to talk, has she told him about her dad yet? Brainstorming is certainly a new name for what they were about to do. Relief in a way it was Sonny who found Remi, though in his place I'd be ignoring Justin's texting, calling every five seconds. Should we be worried that Sonny knew what to do to get Remi back on his feet, suited and booted and looking human enough to pass muster? Bree was giving him some odd looks but then she knows him so would know he isn't his usual self. From his point of view, clever use of camera by TPTB there, it seemed he was seeing/hearing things differently to us. How did Remi know Bree was slipping out to meet with Sonny? Remi was pushing his and Sonny's friendship to the limit, as hinted by Sonny's comments to Bree about him usually being the laid back one in the past - but - then Remi charges up so it was left up in the air. That’s probably why I found it strange when he phoned Abby and she seemed overjoyed I don’t really take any notice of Mali lol The Chosen has chosen Kirby for their support act that’s cool but the way people act already she sometimes feels as big as Taylor Swift Im not really a fan of Remi taking drugs story Dana burning on the iron Irene left on so that story seems to have kicked off properly now Harper don’t believe Tane when he says his been in Japan Western Australia so I think he caught the wrong plane Quote

Well, Theo's met her dad, and Jo predicted Lacey had told him their dad covered for her, so without going back and watching the episode, I'm guessing yes? As Kirby said, things are going pretty fast for her: One minute she's looking forward to a second gig at Salt, next she's looking at six weeks in Europe! (Someone else to add to the holiday list, although Tane's on his way back?) Anyway, it was nice that Justin, Mackenzie and Remi all encouraged her, even though they're going to be left behind. Bree seems to have mostly shrugged off her worries about Remi then.I can understand Sonny's position and Remi probably does mean it about not using again, although Avalon throwing temptation in his way won't help.Avalon continues to be a bit of a paradox.I guess she's neither all good nor all bad, which is quite refreshing in a way. I think she does probably think she's helping Remi. I know we're meant to think Irene's absent minded but ye gods, Dana seemed to be the one with a foggy brain at the end there. The iron's there, it's plugged in, someone's obviously forgotten about it, why the heck would you go straight for the hot bit instead of picking it up by the handle and/or making sure it's turned off and cooled? Roo continues to come across as not having a clue.Does she really think a pile of books will make Cohen forget about hearing from his mother? Quote
