When was the show most balanced?

When did you find the show most balanced? Whatever that means to you weather it be between drama and lightness younger and older cast having spot light or all of the above.

In my opinion in recent years 2016-2018 after Braxton and after super dramatic 2015 season of Charlotte. 
 

I actually thought Charlotte King was a better character and storyline than Angie Russell as Charlotte was more realistic in her badness. Whereas Angie was mentally unstable and Charlotte was just a genuinely bad person with self awareness. 
 

Back to question the reason why chose I 2016-2018 as in 2016 we had balance with Morgan family in witness protection and Astoni family arriving as normal nuclear family in 2017. We had storyline’s that brought the community together like beach volleyball for charity and we saw great development with characters like Matt/Hunter/Evie/Phoebe.
