Hospital appointment tomorrow. :( You get charged €80 to get told things you already know...

My doctor told me that drinking is unhealthy. I told her, "Yeah, I don't drink to be healthy..."

Well, this doctor is quite understanding. It's more or less just 21 Questions, but he does give some good advice about how to cope with all the problems you seem to have.

Does yours make up problems too? I'm an alcoholic because every couple of weeks I have up to SIX drinks with my friends in ONE night! And I'm a drug addict too because a couple of times a year I... uh... partake of special herbs  But of course if that's what I'm admitting to, then really I must be injecting heroine between my toes and knocking over a bottle of vodka every night

I hate it when doctors assume I'm lying. It makes me want to lie :P But at least this one gives me prescription drugs

Hehehe, that made me laugh.I totally agree.Apparently more then 2 drinks a night is binge drinking, so obviously i'm some kind of alcoholic.

He tends to go silent ever time I'm finished saying what I have to say. He just looks at you and you're like "What is this?! A staring contest?!" :P Actually, he does like to give out to me about not taking Iron supplements. Fair enough, I need them, but they make me sick... so I'm not going to take a syrup that supposedly makes me better and then five minutes later I'm lying on my bed feeling very queasy.

Aw :(. Mine make me sick too, but they have good effects too so meh. The thing I couldn't get through to the doctor is that when I said I "need" to drink to socialise, I wasn't talking about now, I was talking about way back when it WAS a problem - a problem I acknowledged and dealt with. And now that I have the anti-depressants, I don't "need" to drink or do anything else to feel comfortable and normal... and that's the whole reason she put me on them, so... yeah, I don't really need a lecture about the evils of binge drinking when I only CHOOSE to do it occasionally to have fun! And I wouldn't even go up to six drinks while I'm on medication. I know that's stupid, and like I said, I don't need to anymore. It's really annoying to be made to feel like I'm doing something wrong when I'm not, but because she assumes that I'm lying all the time, there's no point trying to clear up the truth <_<
