Since I loved into my new flat (the rent for which includes Wi-Fi), I've hardly been able to connect to the internet at all and when I can, it's so slow, it takes 5 minutes to post a message on here.

Seriously, what's wrong with the councelling program at my school?! It's one of the biggest high schools in the country, there are two social councellors and one carreer advisor, and that carreer advisor is proven to be impossible to get an appointment with. If I'm going to the UK or the US next year I'm gonna have to deal with all the deadlines for applications being in January, which means I basically have to make sure I sort out all the scholarships and all that crap before Christmas, which means it would be nice to get some information and councelling on what to do soon! Seriously, for two days I tried to find her, that's a challenge in inself. She wasn't in her office, not even during her office hours and I basically used all the breaks I had that day looking for her. Finally I gave up and asked my teacher, and she said I could write her a note and she'd give it to her and ask her to contact me. Well, now it's been several days and I still haven't heard back from her.

Not that I think it will help much, generally the students seem to be more informed than the carreer advisor. Last time I had an appointment it was about choosing electives, and I spent half of that appointment correcting her because she didn't even know the system for our school!

Students always know more about the school and stuff than people who have been working there for years. How many times did I go to the administration office and they couldn't help me?

I've just destroyed my 10th computer mouse this year. Well, my piece of s**t internet has been cutting ouit alot, and I finally cracked it. I bashed the keyboard and the mouse, the mouse I slammed against the wall and my alcoholic beverage has spilt all over my desk.

I guess I have anger management issues, but I'm not willing to pay a shrink to tell me something I already know

Anyway, previously, I smashed two identical mice, so I could build a perfectly workable mouse from the remaining body of one and the buttons of another

I really want to work on my fic, but I'm really tired, so much so my head has started hurting. Argh.

I'm starting to lose my voice. And I have to work tomorrow, so I hope it gets better. But if I lose my voice it will make everyone, especially my hubby happy that I can't talk.

Computers have that effect on all of us tho I haven't smashed the mouse - yet...

My writing is pretty poor quality lately. Stuff I wrote two or three years ago seems much better.

I'm sick again. I must be really run down or something because I only got over the flu about ten days ago and now I have a bad cold. What makes thing worse is it's my mates 22nd birthday tomorrow night and I've been looking foward to it for weeks but if i'm too sick I can't go. Argh
