It's like how all the show-off dickheads get the girls/guys; the con artists get rich, the troublemakers are the ones who get noticed, or in the case of Corey Worthington...get offered lucrative contracts...for trashing his parent's house Honesty DOESN'T work! My dad caused me to be an hour late to for uni today. I had to catch the train at 8.20am so I got up at 7.15 (trading breakfast for sleep). Now, there's a guy coming over to fix our pool today. I had to leave for the station at 8am, and just on 8 oclock as i'm about to leave my dad just comes up and asks me to go down to the atm to get the cash so he can pay the pool guy. Goddamnit, WHY doesn't he get me to go down EARLIER???? So I go down to the atm, only to find it is broken down I try the other one, but had to wait for some slow-ass bogan and when I finally get to it, it wouldn't take the card Friggin hell, I didn't have time for this s*!t. I go home, tell him that both atms are stuffed, you'll have to walk down later and try again. he gets anxious about how he's gonna pay the pool guy now....well that's too bad - you should've thought of that BEFORE and better yet, gotten PREPARED). On the way to the station I'm doing about 100 in the 70 zone, flying past everyone and yes surely enough the train pulls away right infront of my face, leaving me to wait another 30 minutes. Then when the next train comes and pulls into the station where I have to get off , there was this ****** with a bike plus a million people on the train so I and a few other people missed getting off at my stop

Luc Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 My friends mum died today . She had a heart attack . Anyway, I've been with him and a group of friends all day. The funeral's on the same time as 'Wicked' though, so I'm not going to go to that. She was only 52...

SAB Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 I have to be there at 8.30 and the train stops at every one of the 26 friggin stations between here and uni. (distance 45km). The express services skip only 4 stations out of those 26, and there are a couple that skip 7. That's about it. It's a paaaiiinnfully long journey
Barbara Posted August 7, 2008 Report Posted August 7, 2008 what flavour? Vanilla, strawberry or mocha (sp?). But I got a strawberry milkshake instead and it was delicious. My dad is ill. So he didn't go to work and he is annoying me. He acts as if he's dying but he only has a little cold.

Amazing how men can't cope with colds (no offence to any men on the forum, but it's true) while women are expected to be at deaths door and still work!!!! (again no offence intended). SAB, how come you live so far from uni?
